Common Source definition

Common Source means any bulk quantity, common container, or freely available alcoholic beverage (e.g., beer, wine, liquor, or punch) that is provided by a student group, member, or guest and that is made available for consumption by any member or guest at a social event. Possessing, furnishing, consuming, or serving from a common source of alcohol is strictly prohibited. A common source shall not include “cash bars” operated by a licensed third party vendor that comply with these guidelines.
Common Source. Alcohol: (e.g., kegs, “bubbas,” Jell-­‐O shooters, Texas mickeys, or other large containers of alcohol (defined as 14oz of beer/60oz hard liquor/1.5L of wine) including home brewing or wine making equipment and /or participating indrinking games,” including, but not limited to; flip cup, beer pong, century club, and funneling. The University reserves the right to confiscate alcohol related paraphernalia (e.g., funnels) deemed to be associated with mass consumption of alcohol or its promotion in residence.

It does not mean material encapsulated solely for disposal, or nuclear material contained in any fuel assembly, subassembly, fuel rod, or fuel pellet. Category 1 nationally tracked sources are those containing radioactive material at a quantity equal to or greater than the Category 1 threshold. Category 2 nationally tracked sources are those containing radioactive material at a quantity equal to or greater than the Category 2 threshold but less than the Category 1 threshold.

  • Open Source License means any license meeting the Open Source Definition (as promulgated by the Open Source Initiative) or the Free Software Definition (as promulgated by the Free Software Foundation), or any substantially similar license, including any license approved by the Open Source Initiative or any Creative Commons License. “Open Source Licenses” shall include Copyleft Licenses.

  • Open Source Software means software or similar subject matter that is distributed under an open source license such as (by way of example only) the GNU General Public License, GNU Lesser General Public License, Apache License, Mozilla Public License, BSD License, MIT License, Common Public License, any derivative of any of the foregoing licenses, or any other license approved as an open source license by the Open Source Initiative or as a free software license by the Free Software Foundation.

  • Independent Software Vendor or “ISV” means a Person that makes available to Participants and Authorized Traders a system or platform offering smart order routing, front-end trading applications, an aggregation platform or a combination of the foregoing but that does not provide Participants or Authorized Traders with the ability to effect transactions other than through the Trading System.
