Commercial Off the Shelf. (“COTS”) for the purposes of this solicitation means non-developmental software which has been created for specific uses and is available to the general public in the commercial marketplace. COTS products are designed to be implemented easily into existing systems without the need for customization. “End-User License Agreement (XXXX)” is a legal contract between the manufacturer (publisher) and the end User of an application that details how the software can and cannot be used.
Commercial Off the Shelf means mass-produced, readily available hardware devices, including card readers, printers, or personal computers, and their firmware or software products, including operating systems, programming language compilers, or database management systems.
Commercial Off the Shelf or "COTS" means technology which is ready-made and available for sale, lease, or license to the general public;
