If the Chief, Deputy Chief or Operations Division Chief of the Colorado Rangers is not immediately available to consider the Emergency Aid request, such request can be made to the Troop Commander of the Troop in whose area of responsibility the Requestor is geographically located.
A written grievance must be filed with the employee’s Division Commander within five (5) days of the date the event complained of became known to the employee or the Union.
The Troop Commander shall contact the Chief, Deputy Chief or Operations Division Chief of the Colorado Rangers as soon as possible to seek final approval of the Emergency Aid.
