Close direction definition

Close direction means employees receive precise or specific instruction on job requirements, methods to be adopted and unusual or difficult features, and is task oriented.

Although the employee has some knowledge and understanding of aspects of the work, guidance is still required. The employee’s work is subject to checking at all stages.
