Clinical Screening definition

Clinical Screening means the process via telephone of gathering demographic and clinical information when an individual is potentially in need of or requests services from a BHO. The screening is conducted to determine the person’s level of risk and the type of service needed, as well as, the person's eligibility for a particular service.
