Clean Energy Generation definition

Clean Energy Generation means either: (i) firm service hydroelectric generation from hydroelectric generation alone; (ii) new Class I Renewable Portfolio Standard (“RPS”) eligible resources that are firmed up with firm service hydroelectric generation; or (iii) new Class I RPS eligible resources.2

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.
