Civilian Member definition

Civilian Member means a member of the Civilian Staff of the Peel Regional Police who is entitled to be a member of the Civilian Bargaining Unit of the Peel Regional Police as afforded by the Police Services Act.
Civilian Member means a member of the Civilian and Clerical Staff of the Shelburne Police Service.
Civilian Member means a member of the civilian staff of the Cornwall Police Service.

Examples of Civilian Member in a sentence

  • The notice shall be in writing, specifying the position being eliminated or converted into a Civilian Member complement assignment and shall indicate the number of Uniform Members affected and proposed transfers for the affected Members.

  • The Board agrees to advise the Association of the intent to eliminate a position from this bargaining unit or a conversion of a position into a Civilian Member complement assignment no less than three (3) months prior to taking any action.

  • When Police Officers are utilized in the escorting and transporting of prisoners outside of our Policing Jurisdiction at least two (2) Police Officers shall be required, except where the prisoner to be transported is a female or a Young Offender, in which case one Police Officer may be accompanied by one Civilian Member of the Police Service.

More Definitions of Civilian Member

Civilian Member means a full-time, part-time, permanent part-time and temporary civilian employee of the Police Service as defined in Schedule “B”, other than civilian members of the Senior Officers’ Association.
