City inmates definition

City inmates means those inmates who are arrested, booked, sentenced, or held in the County Jail on crimes, or suspected crimes, involving misdemeanors or gross misdemeanors within the City limits. "City inmates" shall not include those people who are arrested on, charged with, or convicted of a felony offense, (even if that crime arises out of the same transaction or occurrence as a misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor), and shall not include offenses committed by juveniles except those crimes prescribed by the City of Xxxxxxxxx Code. For purposes of this agreement, the term "Skamania County Sheriff's Non-Custody Work Crew Program" shall mean that program supervised by the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office whereby inmates perform various work within the City and County, as directed by the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office., using equipment provided by the Skamania County Sheriff. Said participation shall be subject to approval by the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office. Each work crew day shall begin at 8:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. Work crew may be served, as determined by the terms of the inmate's sentence, in lieu of jail, or for payment of fines.

Examples of City inmates in a sentence

  • The County Sheriff shall also have exclusive control of the day-to-day operations of the Skamania County Jail in performing this contract and the City inmates will be subject to the same rules and regulations required of the other inmates.

  • Pursuant to RCW 70.48.130, the County shall provide routine and regular health care checkups on the City inmates.

  • The County Sheriff shall also have exclusive control of the day-to-day operations of the City inmates who perform work on the Skamania County Non-Custody Work Crew Program.

Related to City inmates

  • School building means any building in which any of the instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by a school is conducted, whether or not any instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by the school is being conducted in the school building at the time a criminal offense is committed.

  • Public school academy means a public school academy or strict discipline academy organized under the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.1 to 380.1852.

  • URGENT CARE CENTER means a healthcare center either affiliated with a hospital or other institution or independently owned and operated. These centers may also be referred to as walk-in centers.

  • Day care center means any child day care facility other than a family day care home, and includes infant centers, preschools, extended day care facilities and school age child care centers.

  • Child care center means an entity that regularly provides child day care and early learning services for a group of children for periods of less than twenty-four hours licensed by the Washington state department of early learning under chapter 170-295 WAC.

  • Small municipal separate storm sewer system or "small MS4" means all separate storm sewers that are (i) owned or operated by the United States, a state, city, town, borough, county, parish, district, association, or other public body (created by or pursuant to state law) having jurisdiction over disposal of sewage, industrial wastes, stormwater, or other wastes, including special districts under state law such as a sewer district, flood control district or drainage district, or similar entity, or an Indian tribe or an authorized Indian tribal organization, or a designated and approved management agency under § 208 of the CWA that discharges to surface waters and (ii) not defined as "large" or "medium" municipal separate storm sewer systems or designated under 4VAC50-60-380 A 1. This term includes systems similar to separate storm sewer systems in municipalities, such as systems at military bases, large hospital or prison complexes, and highway and other thoroughfares. The term does not include separate storm sewers in very discrete areas, such as individual buildings.

  • Academy means the academy named at the beginning of this Disciplinary Policy and Procedure and includes all sites upon which the academy undertaking is, from time to time, being carried out.

  • Community mental health center or "CMHC" means a facility offering a comprehensive array of community-based mental health services, including but not limited to, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, emergency care, consultation and education; and, certain services at the option of the center, including, but not limited to, prescreening, rehabilitation services, pre-care and aftercare, training programs, and research and evaluation.

  • Hispanic American means a person having origins in any of the Spanish-speaking peoples of Mexico, South or Central America, or the Caribbean Islands or other Spanish or Portuguese cultures and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part.

  • Tier 3 Wire Centers means those Qwest Wire Centers that do not meet the criteria for Tier 1 or Tier 2 Wire Centers.

  • Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Management Program means a management program covering the duration of a state permit for a municipal separate storm sewer system that includes a comprehensive planning process that involves public participation and intergovernmental coordination, to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable, to protect water quality, and to satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of the CWA and regulations, and this article and its attendant regulations, using management practices, control techniques, and system, design, and engineering methods, and such other provisions that are appropriate.

  • School of cosmetology means an establishment operated for the purpose of teaching cosmetology.

  • Large municipal separate storm sewer system means all municipal separate storm sewers that are either:

  • Mobile crisis outreach team means a crisis intervention service for minors or families of minors experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.
