Chip Card definition

Chip Card means a Card with an electronic processor embedded in the Card that complies with the EMV integrated circuit card specifications;
Chip Card or “Chip Cards” means a Card which has a chip embedded in it and which is driven by a PIN;
Chip Card means a Card that contains a chip on which data is stored (including Cardmember Information), which an enabled point of sale terminal can read in order to facilitate the processing of the Charge. Consumer Device Cardmember Verification Method (CDCVM) means an American Express approved and recognised Cardmember verification method whereby the Cardmember’s credentials are verified on a Mobile Device. Controller means any individual(s) who exercise(s) control over the management of the company (or other entity with a separate legal personality), for example a director (including a shadow director or defacto director) or equivalent.
