Child care center means an entity that regularly provides child day care and early learning services for a group of children for periods of less than twenty-four hours licensed by the Washington state department of early learning under chapter 170-295 WAC.
Child care center means those providers as defined in 170.4(3)“a” and “g.” “Registered child development home” shall mean those providers as defined in 170.4(3)“b.” “Nonregistered family child care home” shall mean those providers as defined in 170.4(3)“f.”

The facility is generally described as a child care center, day care center, day nursery, nursery school, parent cooperative preschool, play group, before- or after-school program, or drop-in center.
