CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES. OFFICER shall mean the Chief Human Resources Officer or his or her designee.

EMPLOYEE shall mean a person employed by the County and covered by terms of this Memorandum of Understanding, except where the natural construction of this Memorandum of Understanding indicates otherwise. EXEMPT EMPLOYEE shall mean a regular, limited-term or probationary employee who is designated as Executive, Administrative or Professional per the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE shall mean an employee employed in one (1) or more regular or limited-term positions whose normally assigned work hours equal those of a full workweek or work period as described hereinafter.
CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES. OFFICER shall mean the Chief Human Resources Officer or his or her designee. LIMITED-TERM EMPLOYEE shall mean an employee employed in a limited-term position except where a regular position is converted to a limited-term position, the incumbent shall retain his or her former status. As an exception to this definition, a limited-term employee may also be used to fill a regular position when the incumbent employee is on Official Leave of Absence. LIMITED-TERM POSITION shall mean a position which the County has determined has no anticipated long-range funding or has uncertain future funding.
