Charging Energy definition

Charging Energy means the amount of Energy withdrawn from the Utility Distribution Company’s electrical system, Participating Transmission Owner’s electrical system or the CAISO Grid to be stored by the Units of the Project.
Charging Energy means the Contract Energy, net of transformation and transmission losses, if any, measured at the Storage Facility Charging Metering Point, that is delivered to the Storage Facility at the direction of Buyer as a result of a Charging Notice; provided that in no event shall the amount of Charging Energy be greater than the amount of Charging Energy included in the applicable Charging Notice.
Charging Energy is the quantity of MWh metered at the Energy Delivery Point to charge the Storage Unit for such hour.

Examples of Charging Energy in a sentence

  • Subject to the other terms hereof, for each month of the Delivery Term, Buyer shall pay to Seller the Variable Payment determined in accordance with Schedule 5.1 for Delivered Energy and Charging Energy during such month.

  • Subject and according to the terms and conditions herein, including Section 4.5 and Section 7.4, throughout the Delivery Term, Seller shall sell, make available and deliver, and Buyer shall purchase and receive at the Energy Financial Delivery Point in the Applicable Market, all Delivered Energy and Charging Energy in each applicable MISO Settlement Interval.

  • In consideration of the Delivered Energy and Charging Energy during the Delivery Term, Buyer shall make Variable Payments to Seller in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.1.

  • In such event, Buyer shall be entitled to receive all Products from the applicable test according and subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and shall pay Variable Payments for any Delivered Energy, up to the Maximum Delivered Contract Energy, and any Charging Energy, up to the amount included in the applicable Charging Notice, associated with such test.


More Definitions of Charging Energy

Charging Energy means the amount of Energy withdrawn from the Company System to be stored by the Facility and discharged at a later time, as measured in MWh by the Revenue Metering Package. Charging Energy does not include Station Use or Energy required to charge the Facility for the purposes of an Outage or testing.
Charging Energy means the Energy delivered to the Facility pursuant to a Charging Notice as measured at the Facility Metering Point by the Facility Meter, as such meter readings are adjusted by the CAISO for any applicable Electrical Losses.
Charging Energy means all Energy delivered to the Interconnection Point in accordance with a Charge Request.
Charging Energy means the amount of Energy withdrawn from the Utility Distribution Company’s electrical system, Participating Transmission Owner’s electrical system, the CAISO Grid, or otherwise, to be stored by the Project.
Charging Energy means all PV Energy produced by the Generating Facility and delivered to the Storage Facility (including pursuant to a Charging Notice), as measured at the Storage Facility Metering Point by the Storage Facility Meter, as such meter readings are adjusted by the CAISO for any applicable Electrical Losses or Station Use. All Charging Energy shall be used solely to charge the Storage Facility, and all Charging Energy shall be generated solely by the Generating Facility.
Charging Energy means all energy produced by the Generating Facility, net of transformation and transmission losses, if any, measured at the Storage Facility Metering Point that is a result of a Charging Notice given by PacifiCorp. All Charging Energy shall be used for PacifiCorp’s benefit in accordance with Charging Notices and Discharging Notices given by PacifiCorp. PacifiCorp’s payment for Charging Energy shall not be for more than the amount of energy flowing through, and delivered at, the Storage Facility Metering Point and, in any event, not greater than the amount of Charging Energy included in the applicable Charging Notice.
Charging Energy means the as-available Energy produced by the Generating Facility that is delivered to the Storage Facility.
