Changes in the Law definition

Changes in the Law shall have that meaning set forth in Section 6.07 of this Agreement.
Changes in the Law shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.7.

Examples of Changes in the Law in a sentence

  • In the event the Changes in the Law prevent or preclude compliance with one or more of the provisions of this Agreement, such provisions of the Agreement shall be modified or suspended, or performance thereof delayed, as may be necessary, to comply with the Changes in the Law.

  • In the event that such judgment determines that the validity of this Agreement is, directly or indirectly affected by the Changes in the Law, then the provisions of this Section shall apply.

  • In the event that such judgment invalidates the Changes in the Law or determines that it does not affect the validity of this Agreement, this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect, and its Term shall be extended by the amount of time between the effective date of the Changes in the Law, and the effective date of the judgment.

  • In the event Changes in the Law prevent or preclude compliance with one or more provisions of this Agreement by either party hereto, such provisions of this Agreement shall be modified or suspended or performance delayed, as may be necessary to comply with Changes in the Law, and City and Developer shall meet and confer in good faith to determine whether the Changes in the Law apply to the Property and whether an amendment to this Agreement is necessary in light of the Changes in the Law.

  • Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude Developer from contesting by any available means (including administrative or judicial proceedings) the applicability to the Project of any such Changes in the Law.


More Definitions of Changes in the Law

Changes in the Law is defined in Section 3.8.
Changes in the Law means changes in laws, regulations, plans or policies that are specifically mandated and required by changes in state or federal law or regulations, as further defined in Section 2.3.4 of this Agreement.

  • (1) In this Act employee” means an individual who has entered into or works under (or, where the employment has ceased, worked under) a contract of employment.

  • Reasonable in the circumstances means using no more force than is needed.

  • 6.-(1) In this Act an earlier trade mark” means -

  • the Law means any applicable law, proclamation, ordinance, act of parliament or enactment having force of law;

  • Change in the Control means any change in any person(s) who directly exercise effective control over the Grantee.

  • Change in 1940 Act Law shall have the meaning set forth in the definition of "Investment Company Event."

  • Data Protection Law means the applicable legislation protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of persons and their right to privacy with regard to the processing of Personal Data under the Agreement (and includes, as far as it concerns the relationship between the parties regarding the processing of Personal Data by SAP on behalf of Customer, the GDPR as a minimum standard, irrespective of whether the Personal Data is subject to GDPR or not).

  • Qualifying Provinces means, collectively, all of the Provinces of Canada except Québec;

  • EU Data Protection Law means (i) prior to 25 May 2018, Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data ("Directive") and on and after 25 May 2018, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR"); and (ii) Directive 2002/58/EC concerning the processing of Personal Data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector and applicable national implementations of it (as may be amended, superseded or replaced).

  • Anticorruption Laws means the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, or any other anticorruption or anti-bribery Applicable Law applicable to the Company or any of the Company Subsidiaries.

  • Section 162(m) Exemption means the exemption from the limitation on deductibility imposed by Section 162(m) of the Code that is set forth in Section 162(m)(4)(C) of the Code.

  • the data protection principles means the principles set out in Part I of Schedule 1 to that Act, as read subject to Part II of that Schedule and to section 27(1) of that Act;

  • Data Protection Laws means EU Data Protection Laws and, to the extent applicable, the data protection or privacy laws of any other country;

  • Change in Use means altering the purpose of an existing room, within the facility, that requires structural changes.

  • Applicable Data Protection Law means all data privacy or data protection laws or regulations globally that apply to the Processing of Personal Information under this Data Processing Agreement, which may include Applicable European Data Protection Law.

  • EU Data Protection Laws means EU Directive 95/46/EC, as transposed into domestic legislation of each Member State and as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time, including by the GDPR and laws implementing or supplementing the GDPR;

  • Resident means a person who has maintained his permanent home in the above defined geographical area for a period of not less than one year or who, having had a permanent home in this area, has temporarily left with the intention of returning to this area as his permanent home.

  • Sanctions and Export Control Laws means any applicable Law related to (a) import and export controls, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations, (b) economic sanctions, including those administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of State, the European Union, any European Union Member State, the United Nations, and Her Majesty’s Treasury of the United Kingdom or (c) anti-boycott measures.

  • Competition Law means all Laws that are designed or intended to prohibit, restrict or regulate actions having the purpose or effect of monopolization or restraint of trade or lessening of competition through a merger or acquisition.

  • TUPE Regulations means the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, as amended.

  • EEA Regulations means the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2006.

  • Change in Tax Law means the enactment, promulgation, execution or ratification of, or any change in or amendment to, any law (or in the application or official interpretation of any law) that occurs on or after the date on which the relevant Transaction is entered into.
