Central Transmission Utility definition

Central Transmission Utility means the Government Company notified by the Central Government under Sub-Section (1) of Section 38 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
Central Transmission Utility means any Government company which the Central Government may notify under sub-section (1) of section 38;
Central Transmission Utility or “CTU” Shall mean the utility notified by the Central Government under Section-38 of the Electricity Xxx 0000;

  • If (i) the Closing does not occur on the Closing Date for any reason whatsoever, or (ii) the Letter of Intent is withdrawn or terminated for any reason, or (iii) due to termination of the TSA by Central Transmission Utility of India Limitedin accordance with Article 3.3.2 or Article 13 of the TSA thereof, PFCCL shall have a right to terminate this Agreement forthwith by giving a written notice to the other Parties hereto.

  • The Ministry of Power, Government of India has notified CTUIL as the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) in exercise of the powers conferred under sub section (1) of section 38 of the Electricity Act, 2003 vide Gazette Notification No. S.O. 1095(E).

  • In this agreement unless the context otherwise requires the definitions of terms used shall be as follows: ‘Act’ means the Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxx, 0000(Xx 36 of 2003) including amendments thereto; ‘Apparatus’ means all equipment in which electrical conductors are used, supported or of which they form a part; ‘Appropriate Transmission Utility’ means the Central Transmission Utility or State Transmission Utility as the case may be.
