The sanctions that can be imposed following a finding of a breach of the Code are as follows:• Censure: A censure is a formal record of the Standards Commission’s severe and public disapproval of the member concerned.• Suspension: This can be a full or partial suspension (for up to one year).
A Board member shall not be subject to removal under this Policy, unless the member has been censured at least once pursuant to the Board of Neighborhood Commissioners’ (“Commission”) Censure Policy.
Censure: Written reprimand for violation of specified regulation.
Censure, reprimand or removal shall be by two-thirds (2/3) vote of the respective Board of Directors.
