Career Advancement definition

Career Advancement means the positive progression of an individual's working life along a career-related pathway. Career advancement is often associated with an increase in income or benefits. Advancement can also relate to other accomplishments that make it more likely participants will be able to increase their earnings in the future including:¶
Career Advancement means preparing to qualify for official promotions with the current employer or a different employer, preparing for more responsibility and compensation by advancing in a formal career or job series, obtaining industry recognized credentials that result in additional responsibilities, compensation, and/or benefits.

Examples of Career Advancement in a sentence

  • Tables VII, VIII and IX of Appendix III are applicable to Librarians/ Deputy Librarians and Assistant Librarians for both direct recruitment as well as Career Advancement Promotions, the ratio / percentage of minimum requirement of category-wise API Score to each of the cadres shall vary from those for university teachers and for UG/PG College Teachers, as given in these Tables of Appendix-III.

Related to Career Advancement

  • Provider Advance means a Downgrade Advance or a Non-Extension Advance.

  • Expense Advance means a payment to Indemnitee pursuant to Section 3 of Expenses in advance of the settlement of or final judgement in any action, suit, proceeding or alternative dispute resolution mechanism, hearing, inquiry or investigation which constitutes a Claim.

  • Nonrecoverable Advance Any portion of an Advance previously made or proposed to be made by the Master Servicer that, in the good faith judgment of the Master Servicer, will not be ultimately recoverable by the Master Servicer from the related Mortgagor, related Liquidation Proceeds or otherwise.

  • Applied Provider Advance has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.06(a).

  • Final Advance means an Advance made pursuant to Section 2.02(d).

  • Applied Special Termination Advance has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.05.

  • Term SOFR Advance means an Advance denominated in Dollars which, except as otherwise provided in Section 2.11, bears interest at the Adjusted Term SOFR Rate.

  • Special Termination Advance means an Advance made pursuant to Section 2.02(g).

  • Nonrecoverable P&I Advance Any P&I Advance previously made or proposed to be made in respect of a Mortgage Loan or REO Property that, in the good faith business judgment of the Servicer using Accepted Servicing Practices, will not or, in the case of a proposed P&I Advance, would not be ultimately recoverable from related Late Collections, Insurance Proceeds or Liquidation Proceeds on such Mortgage Loan or REO Property as provided herein.

  • Unapplied Provider Advance means any Provider Advance other than an Applied Provider Advance.

  • L/C Advance means, with respect to each Lender, such Lender’s funding of its participation in any L/C Borrowing in accordance with its Applicable Percentage.

  • Property Advance means an advance made in respect of property protection expenses or expenses incurred to protect, preserve and enforce the security for the Mortgage Loan or to pay taxes and assessments or insurance premiums with respect to the Mortgaged Property.

  • Servicer Advance or "Servicing Advance" as defined in the applicable Purchase and Servicing Agreement.

  • Unpaid Advance has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.05.

  • P&I Advance means an advance made by a party to any Securitization Servicing Agreement in respect of a delinquent monthly debt service payment on the Note securitized pursuant to such Securitization Servicing Agreement.

  • Servicing Advance shall have the meaning given thereto in the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement.

  • Monthly Advance The portion of each Monthly Payment that is delinquent with respect to each Mortgage Loan at the close of business on the Determination Date required to be advanced by the Company pursuant to Section 5.03 on the Business Day immediately preceding the Remittance Date of the related month.

  • converted employment and support allowance means an employment and support allowance which is not income-related and to which a person is entitled as a result of a conversion decision within the meaning of the Employment and Support Allowance (Existing Awards) Regulations 2008;

  • Tax Advance has the meaning set forth in Section 6.02(a).

  • Final Recovery Determination With respect to any defaulted Mortgage Loan or any REO Property (other than a Mortgage Loan or REO Property purchased by the Responsible Party as contemplated by this Agreement), a determination made by the Servicer that all Insurance Proceeds, Condemnation Proceeds, Liquidation Proceeds and other payments or recoveries which the Servicer, in its reasonable good faith judgment, expects to be finally recoverable in respect thereof have been so recovered. The Servicer shall maintain records, prepared by a Servicing Officer, of each Final Recovery Determination made thereby.
