Care Treatment definition

Care Treatment means treatment availed by the Insured Person at home for Covid on positive diagnosis of Covid in a Government authorized diagnostic Centre, which in normal course would require care and treatment at a hospital but is actually taken at home provided that:
Care Treatment means any Medical Treatment and/or Surgical Procedure which is undertaken under general anaesthesia or local anaesthesia at an Empanelled Health Care Provider or Day Care Centre in less than 24 hours due to technological advancements, which would otherwise have required Hospitalization.

Examples of Care Treatment in a sentence

  • Urgent Care Treatment of unscheduled, drop-in patients who have minor illnesses and injuries.

  • Adverse Health Care Treatment Decisions include rescission determinations and initial coverage eligibility determinations as provided under federal law.

  • We will cover payment of Medical Expenses of an Insured Person in case of Medically Necessary Day Care Treatment or Surgery that requires less than 24 hours Hospitalization due to advancement in technology and which is undertaken in a Hospital / nursing home/Day Care Centre on the recommendation of a Medical Practitioner.

  • A denial of coverage based on Medical Necessity (sometimes referred to as an Adverse Health Care Treatment Decision) are initially communicated verbally to the Provider for urgent service requests.

  • The EHCP shall be paid for the treatment/intervention provided to the beneficiary based on package rates determined as below- If the Package Rate for a medical treatment or surgical procedure requiring Hospitalisation or Day Care Treatment (as applicable) is fixed as in Annex 2 then it shall apply.

  • Day Care Treatment means medical treatment, and/or surgical procedure which is:

  • Medical Treatment means examination and treatment by a Legally Qualified Physician for a condition which first manifested itself, worsened or became acute or had symptoms which would have prompted a reasonable person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment.

  • Maltreatment means the neglect, abuse, or financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

  • Thermal treatment means the treatment of hazardous waste in a device which uses elevated temperatures as the primary means to change the chemical, physical, or biological character or composition of the hazardous waste. Examples of thermal treatment processes are incineration, molten salt, pyrolysis, calcination, wet air oxidation, and microwave discharge. (See also “incinerator” and “open burning”.)

  • Mechanical Treatment means the use of power saws, axes, or other approved tools to remove trees.

  • Emergency Treatment means Medical Service required in an Emergency. The Emergency event or situation, and the required Medical Service cannot be and are not separated by an unreasonable period of time.

  • Hospital treatment means treatment (including provision of goods and services) that is intended to manage a disease, injury or condition and is provided at a hospital or arranged with the direct involvement of a hospital.

  • Dental Treatment means a treatment related to teeth or structures supporting teeth including examinations, fillings (where appropriate), crowns, extractions and surgery.
