Card Brands definition

Card Brands means Visa, Mastercard, ATM or Debit Networks, and the other financial service Card organizations.
Card Brands means (i) Visa; (ii) Mastercard; (iii) American Express; (iv) Discover Network; (v) Diners Club International Ltd.; (vi) JCB International Co., Ltd.; (vii) China UnionPay Co., Ltd; and (viii) any other organization or association that hereafter contracts with Elavon to authorize, capture, and settle Transactions effected with Credit Cards issued or sponsored by such organization or association, and any successor organization or association to any of the foregoing.
Card Brands means Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Voyager or any other Card Issuers that provide Approved Cards that are accepted by You by agreement with the Bank.

  • Merchant may not make a claim against Servicer or hold Servicer liable for the acts or omissions of other merchants, service providers, Card Brands, financial institutions or others that do not have a written contractual relationship with Servicer or over which Servicer has no control.

  • Merchant may be required to provide notification to the Card Brands if it imposes a surcharge and hereby authorizes Servicer to provide such notification and furnish any necessary documentation, on Merchant’s behalf, to the Card Brands.

  • MCP Transactions will be cleared through the applicable Card Brands in the selected Acceptance Currency.

  • The Transaction is authorized and submitted to the Card Brands for clearing and settlement in the chosen Acceptance Currency.

  • Merchant is not required to accept Cards of Card Brands other than Visa or MasterCard in order to accept Visa or MasterCard Cards (except that transactions using Diner’s International Cards which also carry the MasterCard trademark must be accepted if Merchant accepts MasterCard Card transactions of the same type).

  • Amendments required due to changes in either Card Brand's rules and regulations or any law or judicial decision may become effective on such shorter period of time as Servicer may specify if necessary to comply with the applicable rule, regulation, law or decision.

  • Merchant may opt out of accepting American Express at any time without directly or indirectly affecting its rights to accept Cards bearing Marks of other Card Brands.

  • Credit Card Agreement means each form of credit card agreement between Seller and an Accountholder, including credit card agreements assigned to Seller pursuant to any purchase agreement, governing the use of an Account, together with any amendments, modifications, supplements, notices, disclosures, exhibits, annexes or attachments which now or hereafter may be made to or in connection with such Credit Card Agreement (and any replacement of such agreement).

  • Card means the Visa credit card and any duplicates, renewals, or substitutions the Credit Union issues to you; "account" means your Visa credit card line-of-credit account with the Credit Union; and "Credit Union" means the Credit Union whose name appears on this Agreement or anyone to whom the Credit Union transfers this Agreement.

  • Credit Card Issuer means any Person (other than a Loan Party) who issues or whose members issue credit cards or debit cards, including, without limitation, MasterCard or VISA bank credit or debit cards or other bank credit or debit cards issued through MasterCard International, Inc., Visa, U.S.A., Inc. or Visa International and American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Xxxxx Xxxxxxx and other non-bank credit or debit cards, including, without limitation, credit or debit cards issued by or through American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. or Discover Financial Services, Inc.

  • Card Account means the account maintained with the Bank in respect of the Card;

  • Credit Card Agreements means all agreements now or hereafter entered into by any Borrower or any Guarantor for the benefit of any Borrower, in each case with any Credit Card Issuer or any Credit Card Processor, as the same now exist or may hereafter be amended, modified, supplemented, extended, renewed, restated or replaced, including, but not limited to, the agreements set forth on Schedule 8.16 hereto.

  • Cardholder means the individual named on the card to whom the Card is issued by the Bank;
