Card Brand Rules definition

Card Brand Rules means the rules, regulations, releases, interpretations and other requirements (whether contractual or otherwise) imposed or adopted by any Card Brand.
Card Brand Rules means the bylaws, rules and regulations promulgated by the Card Brands governing the use of the Card Brand branded cards and networks, including Customer’s processing of payments using such cards through the Application Services.
Card Brand Rules means the rules, regulations, releases, interpretations and other requirements (whether contractualor otherwise) imposed or adopted by any Card Brand.

  • In the event of any inconsistency between this Merchant Agreement and the Card Brand Rules, the Card Brand Rules will govern.

  • Clearent will use good faith efforts to program the POS Equipment to operate at the Merchant locations in compliance with the Card Brand Rules; however, Clearent and Bank make no representations or warranties that Clearent’s programming of the POS Equipment furnished by Clearent will operate in compliance with the Card Brand Rules.

  • In performing its obligations under this Merchant Agreement, Merchant shall adequately display Card Brand marks, symbols or logos as required by the Card Brand Rules.

  • Merchant will comply with any applicable Laws and Card Brand Rules and other applicable rules and regulations for the Card Brand type processed.

  • Neither Clearent nor Bank has any obligation other than those expressly provided under the Card Brand Rules and applicable Law as they may relate to limited acceptance.

  • The Agreement, including the Card Brand Rules and Regulations, the Data Security Standards and the Operating Manual and Procedures, which are incorporated herein by reference, constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties pertaining to the subject matter of the Agreement and replaces all previous agreements, arrangements and understandings between you, us and/or the Member concerning the services we provide.

  • If you use Equipment that is not provided by us, it is your responsibility to ensure that it complies with the Card Brand Rules and Regulations and the Data Security Standards at all times.

  • You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to obtain the most recent versions of and that you have reviewed the Card Brand Rules and Regulations, the Data Security Standards and the Operating Manual and Procedures and you acknowledge that you have reviewed them.

  • Likewise, technological controls will always be hindered by certain inherent limitations.

  • You will not directly or indirectly use or disclose Confidential Information other than for the purposes set out in the Agreement including compliance with Card Brand Rules and Regulations.

Related to Card Brand Rules

  • Card Network means a payment card network, including the network operated by each of Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

  • Network Rules means the rules, regulations, releases, interpretations and other requirements (whether contractual or otherwise) imposed or adopted by any Card Networks and related authorities, including without limitation, those of the PCI Security Standards Council, LLC and the National Automated Clearing House Association (including, with respect to EBT, the Quest Operating Rules and with respect to PIN debit cards, the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the applicable debit network).

  • ACH Rules means the NACHA Operating Rules and NACHA Operating Guidelines, as in effect from time to time.

  • Credit Card Agreement means each form of credit card agreement between Seller and an Accountholder, including credit card agreements assigned to Seller pursuant to any purchase agreement, governing the use of an Account, together with any amendments, modifications, supplements, notices, disclosures, exhibits, annexes or attachments which now or hereafter may be made to or in connection with such Credit Card Agreement (and any replacement of such agreement).

  • Credit Card Guidelines means the respective policies and procedures of the Account Owner, as the case may be, as such policies and procedures may be amended from time to time, (a) relating to the operation of its credit card business, which generally are applicable to its portfolio of revolving credit card accounts and in each case which are consistent with prudent practice, including the policies and procedures for determining the creditworthiness of credit card customers and the extension of credit to credit card customers, and (b) relating to the maintenance of revolving credit card accounts and collection of credit card receivables.

  • FCA Rules means the Rules included within the FCA Handbook issued by the FCA.

  • Credit Card Agreements means all agreements now or hereafter entered into by any Borrower or any Guarantor for the benefit of any Borrower, in each case with any Credit Card Issuer or any Credit Card Processor, as the same now exist or may hereafter be amended, modified, supplemented, extended, renewed, restated or replaced, including, but not limited to, the agreements set forth on Schedule 8.16 hereto.

  • Credit Card Notification has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 5.11.

  • Cardholder(s) persons authorized to use Association or Network branded cards.

  • CCASS Rules means the General Rules of CCASS and the CCASS Operational Procedures in effect from time to time;

  • Credit Card Notifications has the meaning provided in Section 6.13(a)(i).

  • End User Customer means a third party retail Customer that subscribes to a Telecommunications Service provided by either of the Parties or by another Carrier or by two (2) or more Carriers.

  • END USER CUSTOMER LOCATION means the physical location of the premises where an End User makes use of the telecommunications services.

  • Card Services means the services that can be availed of using your Card.

  • DOE Rules means DOE’s energy conservation regulations found in Title 10, Parts 429, 430, and 431 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

  • Subscriber Management System means a system or device which stores the subscriber records and details with respect to name, address and other information regarding the hardware being utilized by the subscriber, channels or bouquets of channels subscribed by the subscriber, price of such channels or bouquets of channels as defined in the system, the activation or deactivation dates and time for any channel or bouquets of channels, a log of all actions performed on a subscriber’s record, invoices raised on each subscriber and the amounts paid or discount allowed to the subscriber for each billing period, and which complies with the requirements as set out under Annexure D of this Agreement;

  • School Rules means the body of rules of the School as may be amended from time to time for legal, safety or other substantive reasons, or in order to assist the proper administration of the School. A copy of the then current version of the rules is provided to each child on entry and is sent to parents with the Acceptance Form. Parents will be notified of subsequent changes to the rules;

  • Card Association means Mastercard, Visa, Interac Association, or any other credit or debit card association or network whose cards are accepted by the Servicers for processing.

  • PPB Rules means the rules of the Procurement Policy Board as set forth in Title 9 of the Rules of the City of New York (“RCNY”), § 1-01 et seq.

  • Safety Management System has the meaning given to it in the ISM Code.

  • FSA Rules meanss the rules, guidance, principles and codes comprised in the Handbook of Rules and Guidance issued by the FSA. The parties understand and agree that such categorisation is not intended to, and does not, affect the relationship between and among the parties under the 1940 Act or the Advisers Act.

  • Cardholder means the individual named on the card to whom the Card is issued by the Bank;

  • Management System means an integrated set of interrelated and documented elements to prevent, control and improve the performance of a facility or group of facilities related to industrial safety, operational safety and environmental protection in the sector which the Contractor shall implement throughout the performance of the Petroleum Activities in compliance with the requirements set forth in Articles 13, 14 and 16 of the Law of the National Agency for Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection of the Hydrocarbons Sector and the other Applicable Laws.

  • ACH Network means the funds transfer system, governed by the NACHA Rules, that provides funds transfer services to participating financial institutions.

  • Cardholder Data has the meaning defined by the PCI Security Standards Council, Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) and Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS), Glossary of Terms, Abbreviations, and Acronyms, Version 3.0, January 2014, currently available online at: xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/documents/PCI_DSS_Glossary_v3.pdf. For the term of this Contract, Contractor will maintain a provisional Authority to Operate (ATO) at the Moderate Level from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Joint Authorization Board (JAB) or Federal Agency for any and all Cloud Services provided under this Contract. For the term of this Contract, Contractor will maintain an ISO 27001 Certification for any and all Cloud Services provided under this Contract.

  • SIFT Rules means the provisions of the Tax Act, including those contained in sections 104, 122 and 122.1 of the Tax Act, which apply to the taxation of a “specified investment flow through trust” and its unitholders.
