Carbon Tax definition

Carbon Tax means and refer to the aggregate of all taxes, rates, duties, levies, fees, charges and assessments whatsoever, imposed, assessed, levied, confirmed, rated or charged against or in respect of the associated Greenhouse Gas emissions from the consumption in or at the Building of electricity, or of natural gas, propane or any other fossil fuel used to produce energy, such as heat, light or electricity, for the Building or any part of it or levied in lieu thereof, and levied against the Landlord or the Building by any Authority.
