Capacity Attributes definition

Capacity Attributes means any and all current or future defined characteristics, certificates, tag, credits, ancillary service attributes, or accounting constructs, howsoever entitled, other than Resource Adequacy Benefits, attributed to or associated with the electricity generating capability of the Generating Facility.
Capacity Attributes means any current or future defined characteristic, certificate, tag, credit, or ancillary service attribute, whether general in nature or specific as to the location or any other attribute of the Project, intended to value any aspect of the capacity of the Project to produce Energy or ancillary services, including, but not limited to, any accounting construct so that the full Contract Capacity of the Project may be counted toward a Resource Adequacy Requirement or any other measure by the CPUC, the CAISO, the FERC, or any other entity invested with the authority under federal or state Law, to require Buyer to procure, or to procure at Buyer’s expense, Resource Adequacy or other such products.

Examples of Capacity Attributes in a sentence

  • The “Product” to be delivered and sold by Seller and received and purchased by Buyer under this Agreement is the Delivered Energy and all associated Environmental Attributes and Capacity Attributes.

  • Seller desires to sell, and Buyer desires to purchase and receive, all of the electric Energy and associated Capacity Attributes and Environmental Attributes from Buyer’s Share of the Project, on the terms and conditions set forth herein.

Capacity Attributes means any current or future defined characteristic (including the ability to generate at a given capacity level, provide Ancillary Services, and ramp up or ramp down at a given rate), certificate, tag, credit, flexibility, or dispatchability attribute, whether general in nature or specific as to the location or any other attribute of the Project, intended to value any aspect of the capacity of the Project to produce any and all Product, including any accounting construct so that the maximum amount of Contract Capacity of the Project may be counted toward a Resource Adequacy Requirement or any other measure by the CPUC, the CAISO, the FERC, or any other entity invested with the authority under federal or state Law, to require Buyer to procure, or to procure at Buyer’s expense, Resource Adequacy or other such products.
Capacity Attributes means any current or future defined characteristic, certificate, tag, credit, or accounting construct associated with the amount of power that the Project can generate at a particular moment and that can be purchased and sold under market rules adopted in the region where the Project is located.
Capacity Attributes means any (a) current or future defined characteristic of the Project, including the ability to generate at a given capacity level, provide Ancillary Services, ramp up or ramp down at a given rate, flexibility or dispatchability attributes, locational attributes, or any other ability of the Project as may be identified at any time during the Delivery Term by the CPUC, the CAISO, any applicable Law, or voluntary or mandatory program of any Governmental Authority; (b) certificate, tag, or credit intended to commoditize or otherwise attribute value resulting from or associated with the characteristics set forth in subsection (a) of this definition; and (c) any accounting construct so that the characteristics or values set forth in subsections (a) or (b) hereof may be counted toward a Resource Adequacy Requirement or any other measure by the CPUC, the CAISO, or any other Governmental Authority, to require Buyer to procure, or to procure at Buyer’s expense, Resource Adequacy or other such products.
Capacity Attributes means any current or future defined characteristic, certificate, tag, credit, or ancillary service attribute, whether general in nature or specific as to the location or any other attribute of the Facility, intended to value any aspect of the Contract Capacity of the Facility to produce Energy or ancillary services, including contributions towards Resource Adequacy (including those requirements defined in Section 40 of the CAISO Tariff) or reserve requirements (if any), and any other reliability or power attributes.
Capacity Attributes means (a) the Local RA Attributes, (b) the RA Attributes, (c) the Flexible RA Attributes, and (d) any other current or future defined characteristics (including the ability to generate at a given capacity level, provide ancillary services, ramp up or down at a given rate, and flexibility or dispatch-ability attributes), certificates, tags, credits, howsoever entitled, including any accounting construct applied to any Compliance Obligations.
Capacity Attributes means any current or future attribute, as may be currently defined or otherwise defined in the future, including but not limited to a characteristic, certificate, tag, credit, ancillary service or attribute thereof, or accounting construct, associated with the electric generation capability and capacity of the Facility or the Facility’s capability and ability to produce or curtail energy, including any attribute counted towards any current or future resource adequacy or reserve requirements. Capacity Attributes are measured in MW. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, “Capacity Attributes” do not include: (i) any PTCs, ITCs, or any other tax credits, deductions, or tax benefits associated with the Facility, or (ii) any state, federal, local, or private cash payments or grants relating in any way to the Facility or the electric power output of the Facility.
