At the end of that period (or sooner, if the Candidate Member so requests), the Board will require the submission of an external review report which demonstrates that the applicant meets the criteria.
If, after consideration of the review report by the Board, the Candidate Member is not, in the opinion of the Board, in full compliance with all the criteria, the application will lapse and the applicant will, by the decision of the Board, not be allowed to reapply for membership until a further period of two years has elapsed.
If, as a result of an external review, a member is judged not to meet the membership criteria by the Board, it will be given two years to conform with the criteria, during which time the agency will be designated as a Candidate Member of ENQA.
In order to become a Candidate Member, the applicant must: submit an application; pay all applicable fees; have passed the NKE or have successfully completed the NKE Waiver, and be eligible to work in Canada.
