Call Back definition

Call Back means calling of an employee to duty after he has reported off duty and before he/she is next scheduled for work. Employees designated for standby duty under Article 28 shall not be eligible for call back.
Call Back means the return of an employee at the direction of his or her appointing authority or designated management representative after the employee has left the worksite for the day, in order to perform an overtime assignment.

Call Back as used in this Article means an Officer having been released from duty for fifteen
Call Back. When an employee has completed their regular shift and is not in pay status and/or on normal days off and is called to return to work and is required to report within twelve (12) hours of that call. Call Back is an occasion where an employee has been released from duty and is called back to work prior to the employee’s normal starting time. Call Back means any time an employee is ordered into work when he has left the premises at the conclusion of his normal tour of duty or is ordered into work on his day off or is ordered into work prior to his normal tour of duty without forty-eight (48) hours notice.
Call Back means that an employee is required to physically return to work outside their regular scheduled work hours and that the employee was unaware of the work assignment at the end of the employee’s previous shift. Also for purposes of this section “outside of an employee’s regular work hours” means the employee’s scheduled days off, any paid leave which has been pre- approved and also means the time when an employee has left work on a regularly scheduled work day to the time the employee is due to return to work for the employee’s regularly scheduled shift.
