Competent Court of Law means any court or tribunal or any similar judicial or quasi- judicial body in India that has jurisdiction to adjudicate upon issues relating to this Agreement;
Requirement of Law means, as to any Person, the Certificate of Incorporation and By-Laws or other organizational or governing documents of such Person, and any law, treaty, rule or regulation or determination of an arbitrator or a court or other Governmental Authority, in each case applicable to or binding upon such Person or any of its property or to which such Person or any of its property is subject.
Environmental, Health or Safety Requirements of Law means all Requirements of Law derived from or relating to foreign, federal, state and local laws or regulations relating to or addressing pollution or protection of the environment, or protection of worker health or safety, including, but not limited to, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. § 9601 et seq., the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, 29 U.S.C. § 651 et seq., and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, 42 U.S.C. § 6901 et seq., in each case including any amendments thereto, any successor statutes, and any regulations or guidance promulgated thereunder, and any state or local equivalent thereof.
Change of Law shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.02.
railway operational procedures means procedures specified under any access agreement (as defined in the Railways Act 1993) or station lease;
Requirements of Law means, as to any Person, any law, statute, treaty, rule, regulation, right, privilege, qualification, license or franchise or determination of an arbitrator or a court or other Governmental Authority or stock exchange, in each case applicable or binding upon such Person or any of its property or to which such Person or any of its property is subject or pertaining to any or all of the transactions contemplated or referred to herein.
Law means any law, statute, ordinance, code, rule, regulation, order, writ, proclamation, judgment, injunction or decree of any Governmental Authority.
Operation means operations and tests of the aircraft and its installed equipment, accessories and power plants, while the aircraft is in the open or in motion. The term does not apply to aircraft on any production line or in flight.
Labor law decision means an administrative merits determination, arbitral award or decision, or civil judgment, which resulted from a violation of one or more of the laws listed in the definition of “labor laws”.
Applicable Legal Requirements means all laws (including common law), statutes, regulations, codes, rules, treaties, ordinances, judgments, directives, permits, decrees, decisions, approvals, interpretations, injunctions, writs, orders or other similar legal requirements in effect of any governmental authority relating to the Work, either of the Parties, ADA-ES, Inc., the Project or any of the activities of either of the Parties contemplated by the Potential Transaction.
Corporations Law means the Corporations Law of the Commonwealth of Australia as applying in each State and Territory of Australia;
Railway Operation means the construction and operation under this Agreement of the relevant Railway and associated access roads and Additional Infrastructure (if any) within the relevant Railway Corridor and of the associated Lateral Access Roads, in accordance with approved proposals;
operation in breach of customs legislation means any violation or attempted violation of customs legislation.
Law relating to a public servant s office or employment” means a law that specifically applies to a person acting in the capacity of a public servant and that directly or indirectly imposes a duty on the public servant or governs the conduct of the public servant. Penal Code 39.01(1)
bye-law means a bye-law framed by the corporation under this Act;

Capital Requirements Directive means Directive 2013/36/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013 on access to the activity of credit institutions and the prudential supervision of credit institutions and investment firms, as amended or replaced from time to time.
the Constitution means the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Act 108 of 1996
In operation means engaged in activity related to the primary design function of the source.
Improper governmental action means any action by a district officer or employee:
State of Incorporation means Delaware.
Market Operations Center means the equipment, facilities and personnel used by or on behalf of a Market Participant to communicate and coordinate with the Office of the Interconnection in connection with transactions in the PJM Interchange Energy Market or the operation of the PJM Region.
REMIC Change of Law Any proposed, temporary or final regulation, revenue ruling, revenue procedure or other official announcement or interpretation relating to REMICs and the REMIC Provisions issued after the Closing Date.
WREGIS Operating Rules means those operating rules and requirements adopted by WREGIS as of June 4, 2007, as subsequently amended, supplemented or replaced (in whole or in part) from time to time.
Court of competent jurisdiction means a federal court, or a state court that entered an order in a child custody proceeding involving an Indian child, as long as the state court had proper subject matter jurisdiction in accordance with this chapter and the laws of that state, or a tribal court that had or has exclusive or concurrent jurisdiction pursuant to 25 U.S.C. Sec. 1911.
Construction Change Directive means a written order prepared by Owner Parties and signed by Owner directing Contractor to perform a change in the Work prior to agreeing to a change, if any, to the Contract Time, schedule of performance of the Work, Contract Sum, or Contractor’s compensation.
