Business participation definition

Business participation means the participation of a person in any activity, the purpose of which is the commercial development or exploitation of intellectual property owned by the University. Such participation includes, but is not limited to, an equity interest, a consulting relationship, service on a Board of directors or similar body, a royalty interest, stock ownership, or any similar relationship.

  • Small and/or Emerging Local Business participation and current SLEB certification status must be maintained for the term of the contract.

  • Also, this information will serve as a record of fulfillment of the commitment the selected contractor made and for which it received Small Diverse Business participation points.

  • Participation means an interest in a Loan that is acquired indirectly by way of a participation from a selling institution.
