Business of the LLC definition

Business of the LLC has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 2.6 of this Agreement.
Business of the LLC means the purpose of the LLC as described in Section 2.6.1.
Business of the LLC shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.6 hereof.

Examples of Business of the LLC in a sentence

  • The Managing Member and each of the Officers is an agent of the LLC for the purpose of its business including, without limitation, acquiring, owning, managing, financing, encumbering, refinancing and selling all or any portion of the Property, and for the purpose of the execution in the name of the LLC of any instrument, if applicable, and any other document, certificate, affidavit or the like required or desirable in connection with the Business of the LLC.

  • The Business of the LLC shall be managed by the Managing Member and/or such Officers as the Managing Member may, from time to time, appoint in accordance with Section 4.4 of this Agreement.

  • The Members and their respective Affiliates and Principals hereby agree that it is in all of their best interests to keep this Agreement and the Business of the LLC and all information concerning such business confidential.

Related to Business of the LLC

  • Business of the Company means any business with the primary purpose of leasing assets to healthcare operators, or financing the ownership of or financing the operation of skilled nursing facilities, senior housing, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, or other residential healthcare-related real estate.

  • Business of the Employer means the business conducted by the Employer, which is the business of commercial banking.

  • Business Activities shall be deemed to include any activities which are included in the Company's Business now or during the effective period of this Agreement.

  • Business activity means that term as defined in section 3(2) of the former single business tax act, 1975 PA 228, or in section 105 of the Michigan business tax act, 2007 PA 36, MCL 208.1105.

  • Company Business means the business of the Company as presently conducted.

  • Cannabis business means any business activity involving cannabis, including but not limited to cultivating, transporting, distributing, manufacturing, compounding, converting, processing, preparing, storing, packaging, delivering, testing, dispensing, retailing and wholesaling of cannabis, of cannabis products or of ancillary products and accessories, whether or not carried on for gain or profit.

  • Business Purpose means the use of personal information for the business’s or a service provider’s operational purposes, or other notified purposes, provided that the use of personal information shall be reasonably necessary and proportionate to achieve the operational purpose for which the personal information was collected or processed or for another operational purpose that is compatible with the context in which the personal information was collected. Business purposes are:

  • Company IT Assets means all Software, systems, servers, computers, hardware, firmware, middleware, networks, data, data communications lines, routers, hubs, switches and all other information technology equipment, and all associated documentation owned by or licensed, pursuant to valid and enforceable license agreements, to the Company and its Subsidiaries.

  • Business Purposes ’ means purposes normally or otherwise reasonably associ- ated with the use of land for business activities, including shops, offices, showrooms, restaurants or similar businesses other than places of instruction, public garages, builder’s yards, scrap yards and industrial activities;

  • Competitive Business Activity means:

  • Business Acquisition means (a) an Investment by the Borrower or any Restricted Subsidiary in any other Person pursuant to which such Person shall become a Subsidiary or shall be merged into or consolidated with the Borrower or any Restricted Subsidiary or (b) an acquisition by the Borrower or any Restricted Subsidiary of the property and assets of any Person (other than a Subsidiary) that constitutes substantially all of the assets of such Person or any division or other business unit of such Person.

  • Retained Subsidiaries means all Subsidiaries of Sellers and their respective direct and indirect Subsidiaries, as of the Closing Date, other than the Purchased Subsidiaries.

  • Valid business purpose means one or more business purposes that alone or in combination

  • Business has the meaning set forth in the Recitals.

  • Significant business transaction means any business transaction or series of transactions that, during any one fiscal year, exceeds the lesser of $25,000 or 5 percent of the total operating expense of a provider.

  • Generation Business means the licensed business (if any) of the Licenseeand any affiliate or related undertaking of the Licensee in the generation of electricity or the provision of Ancillary Services;
