Burgundy Book definition

Burgundy Book means sections 3 – 6 inclusive of the “Conditions of Service for Academy Teachers in England and Wales” revised edition August 2000 and includes any subsequent amendments thereto.

  • Provisions for maternity leave shall be those set out in the Burgundy Book, without prejudice to any additional rights provided by the Employment Acts and/or agreed locally, where ratified by the Governing Body.

  • New employees taking up employment with foundation schools will also generally have Burgundy Book conditions incorporated into their individual contracts of employment.

  • Should retention allowances and/or benefits be withdrawn, appropriate notice will be given in line with entitlement under the Burgundy Book or statutory provision as appropriate.

  • ADT means Weighted Average Daily Traffic, or the ratio between (a) traffic to (b) the number of days in a given period of time. Traffic is the number of vehicle crossings in toll plazas or free toll roads in a given period of time.

  • LOCKHEED XXXXXX Procurement Representative means a person authorized by LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.
