Bona Fide Apprenticeship Program definition

Bona Fide Apprenticeship Program means a program approved by the State Division of Apprenticeship Standards that has graduated apprentices annually for at least the past 5 years. The graduation requirement for each of the preceding 5 years shall not apply to any trade or craft not recognized by the Department of Labor and/or the Division of Apprenticeship Standards as an apprenticeable occupation for more than 9 years immediately prior to the effective date of this Agreement.

  • Apprenticeship program means a program registered with the U.S. Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training which contains the terms and conditions for the qualification, recruitment, selection, employment and training of apprentices, including the requirement for a written apprenticeship agreement.
