Bid Protest definition

Bid Protest means a dispute raised against the methods employed or decisions made by a contracting authority in the administration of a proposal, tender, or quotation process.
Bid Protest means a protest, complaint or challenge by an aggrieved actual or prospective bidder or offeror (hereinafter "protestor") in connection with the solicitation or selection for award of a contract for the purchase of goods, services, and or public works projects by a state agency and or the division of purchases. Bid Protest means a protest filed by a bidder on a contract in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, which protest (1) claims that one or more bidders on the contract should be disqualified or rejected for any reason, or (2) contests a city staff recommendation to award the contract to a particular bidder, or (3) contests a city staff recommendation to disqualify or reject one or more bidders on the contract.
