Benefits definition

Benefits as defined in Section 3.1(b).
Benefits means any treatment, facility, equipment, drug, device, supply or service that you receive reimbursement for under a plan. BLUECARD is a national program in which we and other Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans participate. BLUE DISTINCTION CENTERS are network providers who are recognized by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association for delivering high-quality, effective, cost-efficient specialty care.
Benefits in these Principles means any valuable things, including money, endowments, commissions, positions, services, preferential treatment or rebates of any type or in any name. Benefits received or given occasionally in accordance with accepted social customs and that do not adversely affect specific rights and obligations shall be excluded.

Examples of Benefits in a sentence

  • The Board shall enter into agreements and act in all matters in the name of “The Board of Trustees of the Public Education Benefits Trust Fund”.

  • With the advice of the Actuary and, if the Board considers it appropriate, the Benefits Consultant, the Board shall adopt an early return to work program (the “Early Return to Work Program”) which shall be designed and implemented by the Board.

  • No amendment shall authorize or permit any part of the corpus or income of the Trust Fund to be used for or diverted to purposes other than for the exclusive benefit of the Members or their beneficiaries or estates or cause the Public Education Benefits Trust to no longer qualify as an ELHT.

Benefits means the amount the Company will pay for a legitimate claim under this Takaful Certificate based on the Benefits description in the Schedule.
