Benefit district definition

Benefit district means the area benefiting from and assessed for an improvement under this subchapter.
Benefit district means a district, containing lands which are, or will be, benefited by their inclusion within the district, the owners of those lands being entitled, under state or federal statutes or the California Constitution or the United States Constitution, to notice by mail or personal service and hearing prior to the inclusion of the lands within the district.
