Beneficiation of Ores and Minerals definition

Beneficiation of Ores and Minerals means upgrading ores and minerals by purely physical processes (e.g., crushing, screening, settling, flotation, dewatering and drying) with the addition of other chemical products only to the extent that they are a non-hazardous aid to the physical process (such as flocculants and deflocculants added to a froth-flotation process).
