Basic Salary definition

Basic Salary shall have the meaning assigned to it in Section 5 of this Agreement.
Basic Salary means the salary, as specified in Clause 6.1.1 or, as appropriate, the reviewed annual salary from time to time;

  • When an employee is promoted to a classification with a higher Base Rate, the employee will have his/her salary adjusted by multiplying the Base Rate for the new classification as specified on the Classification System - Basic Salary Schedule by the Index Rate as determined by the Service Computation Date (SCD).

  • Each year of industrial experience above the requirements for entrance to a Faculty of Education for technical teachers shall be equivalent to one year of experience on the Basic Salary Schedule.
