Contractor shall not use Basic Pilot Program procedures to undertake pre-employment screening of job applicants while performing this Contract.
If the Basic Pilot Program is discontinued, this provision shall not be required or be effective.
Execution of the Contract or these Special Conditions by Contractor shall constitute a certification by Contractor that it does not knowingly employ or contract with an illegal alien and that the Contractor has participated or attempted to participate in the E-Verify Employment Verification Program administered by the United States Department of Homeland Security, (“E-Verify Program” – f/k/a "Basic Pilot Program") in order to verify that it does not employ any illegal aliens.
The Contractor hereby states that it does not knowingly employ or contract with illegal aliens and that the Contractor has participated in or has attempted to participate in the E- Verify Program or Department Program (formerly known as the Basic Pilot Program) (as defined in §8-17.5-101, C.R.S.) in order to verify that it does not employ any illegal aliens.
