Special Needs beneficiary is one who needs additional time to complete his/ her education due to physical, mental or emotional limitations. In addition, as discussed below, a beneficiary may roll over contributions to another Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account until he or she attains age 30. A beneficiary may also roll over his or her Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account to a new beneficiary who is a member of his or her family so long as the recipient has not attained age 30.
Special needs child means a person under the age of 18 at the time of adoption, who is a dependent of a public or private non-profit adoption agency, is legally free for adoption and has been determined by the agency to have specific conditions.

Basic Service means any service tier that includes the retransmission of local television broadcast Signals and any equipment or installation used in connection with Basic Service.

Distance education means education imparted by combination of any two or more means of communication, viz. broadcasting, telecasting, correspondence courses, seminars, contact programmes and any other such methodology;
Basic Services means housekeeping services, meals, nutritious snacks, laundry, and activities.
Basic hospital cover means a hospital policy that includes the clinical categories that must be covered by a basic hospital product.
Child with special needs means a child with one or more of the following conditions:
Basic Municipal Service means a municipal service that is necessary to ensure an acceptable and reasonable quality of life and which, if not provided, would endanger public health or safety or the environment;
Footwear or Leather Care Product means any product designed or labeled to be applied to footwear or to other leather articles/components, to maintain, enhance, clean, protect, or modify the appearance, durability, fit, or flexibility of the footwear or leather article/component. Footwear includes both leather and nonleather foot apparel. “Footwear or Leather Care Product” does not include “Fabric Protectant,” “General Purpose Adhesive,” “Contact Adhesive,” “Vinyl/Fabric/Leather/Plastic Coating,” as defined in section 94521(a), “Rubber/Vinyl Protectant,” “Fabric Refresher,” products solely for deodorizing, or sealant products with adhesive properties used to create external protective layers greater than 2 millimeters thick.
Basic Cable Service means any service tier, which includes the retransmission of local television broadcast signals as defined by the FCC.

Graduate medical education and disproportionate share fund or “GME/DSH fund” means a reimbursement fund developed as an adjunct reimbursement methodology to directly reimburse qualifying hospitals for the direct and indirect costs associated with the operation of graduate medical education programs and the costs associated with the treatment of a disproportionate share of poor, indigent, nonreimbursed or nominally reimbursed patients for inpatient services.
Minimum Generation Emergency means an Emergency declared by the Office of the Interconnection in which the Office of the Interconnection anticipates requesting one or more generating resources to operate at or below Normal Minimum Generation, in order to manage, alleviate, or end the Emergency.

Adult Foster Home (AFH means any home in which residential care and services are provided in a home-like environment for compensation to five or fewer adults who are not related to the provider by blood, marriage, or adoption. An adult foster home does not include any house, institution, hotel, or other similar living situation that supplies room or board only, if no individual thereof requires any element of care.
Intercollegiate sport means a sport played at the collegiate level for which eligibility requirements for participation by a student athlete are established by a national association for the promotion or regulation of collegiate athletics.
Basic Comprehensive User Guide means the Ministry document titled Basic Comprehensive Certificates of Approval (Air) User Guide” dated April 2004 as amended.
