Base Sum Insured definition

Base Sum Insured means the amount stated in the Policy Schedule.
Base Sum Insured means the sum insured for the Insured Person as stated in the Schedule of the first Accident Suraksha Policy taken with Us.
Base Sum Insured means the Sum Insured for the Base Cover as specified in the Policy Schedule and/or Certificate of Insurance.

Examples of Base Sum Insured in a sentence

  • If the Insured Persons in the expiring Policy are covered under a Family First Policy and have an accumulated Cumulative Bonus for each Insured Person in the expiring Policy under this benefit, and such expiring Policy is Renewed with Us on a Family Floater Policy with same or higher Base Sum Insured, then the accumulated Cumulative Bonus to be carried forward for credit in the Renewing Policy would be the least of the accumulated Cumulative Bonus amongst all the Insured Persons.

  • In case the Base Sum Insured under the Policy is reduced at the time of Renewal, the applicable accumulated Cumulative Bonus shall also be reduced in proportion to the Base Sum Insured.

  • If the Insured Persons in the expiring Policy are covered under a Family First Policy and have an accumulated Cumulative Bonus for each Insured Person in the expiring Policy under this benefit, and such expiring Policy is Renewed with Us on an Individual Policy with same or higher Base Sum Insured, then the accumulated Cumulative Bonus to be carried forward for credit in the Renewing Policy would be the accumulated Cumulative Bonus for that Insured Person.

  • In case the Base Sum Insured under the Policy is increased at the time of Renewal, the applicable accumulated Cumulative Bonus shall also be increased in proportion to the Base Sum Insured.

  • The Base Sum Insured stated in the Policy Schedule for each Insured Person is available for claims in respect of that Insured Person only, during the Policy Year.

  • If the Base Sum Insured for an Insured Person is exhausted due to payment of claims, then that Insured Person may utilise the Floater Sum Insured stated in the Policy Schedule for any claims arising in that Policy Year.

  • The Benefit under this cover will be over and above the Base Sum Insured.

  • Availing the Annual Health Check-up will not impact the Base Sum Insured or the Cumulative Bonus.

  • In the event of a claim being admitted from the Floater Sum Insured, the Floater Sum Insured shall stand correspondingly reduced by the amount of claim paid (including ‘taxes’) or admitted and only the remaining amount of the Floater Sum Insured shall be available for claims arising in that Policy Year in respect of the Insured Persons who have exhausted their Base Sum Insured during that Policy Year.

  • The maximum increase shall be 25% of the Base Sum Insured including if Your policy has been ported to Us. You will be eligible for Cumulative Bonus only if the Schedule specifies that this option is in force.

  • Sum Insured means the sum as specified in the Schedule to this Policy against the name of Insured / each Insured Person, which sum represents the Company's maximum liability for any or all claims under this Policy during the Policy period for the respective benefit(s) against which the sum is mentioned in the Schedule to this Policy.

  • Excess Insurance means insurance purchased from an insurance company authorized or admitted in the State of New Jersey or deemed eligible by the Commissioner as a surplus lines insurer or from any other entity authorized to provide said coverage in this state pursuant to law, covering losses in excess of an amount set forth in insurance contracts on a specific occurrence, or per accident or annual aggregate basis.

  • Equipment Cost means, for any Item of Equipment, the gross amount paid by the Company to the manufacturer thereof, including all applicable sales taxes, and delivery charges as invoiced by such manufacturer to the Company.

  • General Liability Insurance Subcontractor shall carry minimum primary General Liability Insurance for the following amounts:

  • Property Insurance is defined in Section 6.10(a).

  • Replacement Cost means the cost to repair or rebuild the improvements owned by Lessor at the time of the occurrence to their condition existing immediately prior thereto, including demolition, debris removal and upgrading required by the operation of applicable building codes, ordinances or laws, and without deduction for depreciation.

  • Full Replacement Cost as used herein shall mean the actual replacement cost of the Leased Property requiring replacement from time to time including an increased cost of construction endorsement, if available, and the cost of debris removal. In the event either party believes that full replacement cost (the then-replacement cost less such exclusions) has increased or decreased at any time during the Lease Term, it shall have the right to have such full replacement cost re-determined.

  • Additional Insured is defined in Section D of Annex D to the Lease.

  • Fidelity Insurance means insurance coverage with respect to employee errors, omissions, dishonesty, forgery, theft, disappearance and destruction, robbery and safe burglary, property (other than money and securities) and computer fraud in an aggregate amount acceptable to Seller’s regulators.

  • Travel Insurance means coverage for personal risks incidental to planned travel, including one or more of the following:

  • Liability Insurance means compulsory professional liability errors and omissions insurance required by a governing body;

  • D&O Liability Insurance Policies means all insurance policies (including any “tail policy”) of any of the Debtors for liability of any current or former directors, managers, officers, and members.

  • Patient cost means the cost of a medically necessary health care service that is incurred as a result

  • Insured Amount As defined in the Policy.

  • Insurance Costs means the sums described in paragraph 1.1 of Part 5 of the Schedule;

  • Self-insured retention means the individual own risk employer's or group self-insurance association's retained amount of risk under a specific excess insurance policy, before the liability is transferred to an insurance carrier.

  • Net Insurance/Condemnation Proceeds means an amount equal to: (a) any Cash payment or proceeds (including Cash Equivalents) received by the Borrower or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries (i) under any casualty insurance policy in respect of a covered loss thereunder of any assets of the Borrower or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries or (ii) as a result of the taking of any assets of the Borrower or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries by any Person pursuant to the power of eminent domain, condemnation, expropriation or otherwise, or pursuant to a sale of any such assets to a purchaser with such power under threat of such a taking, minus (b) (i) any actual out-of-pocket costs incurred by the Borrower or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries in connection with the adjustment, settlement or collection of any claims of the Borrower or the relevant Restricted Subsidiary in respect thereof, (ii) payment of the outstanding principal amount of, premium or penalty, if any, and interest and other amounts on any Indebtedness (other than the Loans, Indebtedness outstanding with respect to the Second Lien Term Loans and any Indebtedness secured by a Lien on the Collateral that is pari passu with or expressly subordinated to the Lien on the Collateral securing any Secured Obligation) that is secured by a Lien on the assets in question and that is required to be repaid or otherwise comes due under the terms thereof as a result of such loss, taking or sale, (iii) in the case of a taking, the reasonable out-of-pocket costs of putting any affected property in a safe and secure position, (iv) any selling costs and out-of-pocket expenses (including reasonable broker’s fees or commissions, legal fees, transfer and similar Taxes and the Borrower’s good faith estimate of income or other Taxes paid or payable (including pursuant to Tax sharing arrangements or any Tax distribution)) in connection with any sale or taking of such assets as described in clause (a) of this definition, (v) any amounts provided as a reserve in accordance with GAAP against any liabilities under any indemnification obligation or purchase price adjustments associated with any sale or taking of such assets as referred to in clause (a) of this definition (provided that to the extent and at the time any such amounts are released from such reserve (other than in connection with a payment in respect of such liability), such amounts shall constitute Net Insurance/Condemnation Proceeds) and (vi) the pro rata portion of such Net Insurance/Condemnation Proceeds (calculated without regard to this clause vi) attributable to minority interests and not available for distribution to or for the account of the Borrower and the Restricted Subsidiaries as a result thereof.

  • Insured means the Executive.
