Base CPI means as set out in paragraph 36 hereof.

Examples of Base CPI in a sentence

  • Such increase shall not exceed, as a percentage, one half (1/2) of the percentage by which the Current CPI Index increased from the Base CPI Index.

  • If the increase rate of each annual CPI compared to the Base CPI is higher than 3%, the Exercise Price will be raised by the difference between the such increase rate and 3% (for example, if in a given year the rate of the CPI increase compared to the Base CPI was 5%, the Exercise Price will raise by 2%).

  • The base period, for purposes of such adjustment, shall be the CPI for the fourth calendar month immediately preceding the first Lease Year (the "Base CPI").

  • The Minimum Monthly Rent shall be adjusted for each Lease Year after the first Lease Year on the basis of the percentage change in the CPI for the fourth calendar month immediately preceding the Lease Year subject to adjustment compared to the Base CPI.
