Base Building Contractor definition

Base Building Contractor means the general contractor for the Base Building Work, who shall be designated by Landlord.
Base Building Contractor means the contractor retained to perform the Base Building Work.
Base Building Contractor means the general contractor for the Base Building designated by Landlord.

  • Landlord shall cause the Base Building Contractor to periodically update such Schedule during the course of Landlord’s Work and Landlord shall deliver its most current update to Tenant at the time of Landlord’s approval of the Working Drawings pursuant to paragraph 1(E).

  • Representatives of Landlord and Tenant shall accompany the Base Building Architect and the Base Building Contractor on a walk-through and inspection of the Premises to determine if final completion has occurred.

  • If any portion of TI construction coincides with any portion of the Base Building construction, the TI Contractor shall coordinate with the Base Building Contractor regarding construction logistics, including but not limited to: site safety, deliveries, on-site parking (if allowed), removal of debris, use of man lift and operator during concurrent building construction, use of elevator, and Tenant Change Requests.

  • Landlord hereby approves the Base Building Contractor as Tenant’s Contractor.

  • Tenant shall, throughout the performance of the FF&E Work, promptly remove all rubbish and debris from the Premises using a refuse remover designated by Tenant and reasonably acceptable to Landlord but in no event shall Tenant or any contractors, materialmen, laborers or other Persons claiming by or through Tenant use any containers of the Base Building Contractor.

  • Landlord shall direct the Base Building Contractor to provide Tenant with reasonable (as appropriate under the circumstances) advance notice (which notice may be oral) of (i) any prohibition of or material interference with access to the Building for the delivery of materials, (ii) power and water outages, (iii) changes in parking for the Leasehold Contractor and its subcontractors and (iv) restricted access to regular elevator use.

  • Building Contractor means the building contractor or developer appointed or to be appointed by the Grant Recipient in respect of a Firm Scheme; Business Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a statutory Bank Holiday in England;

  • Base Building Work means the base building work for the Building as described in this Manual.

  • Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, the public restrooms and the Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located. Tenant shall promptly provide Landlord with copies of any notices it receives regarding an alleged violation of Law. Tenant shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Building attached as Exhibit E and such other reasonable rules and regulations adopted by Landlord from time to time, including rules and regulations for the performance of Alterations (defined in Section 9).

  • Building Contract means a contract entered under Transportation Code, Chapter 223, Subchapter A for the construction or maintenance of a Department building or appurtenant facilities and considered to be a Highway Improvement Contract as defined in Texas Administrative Code, § 9.11.

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth);

  • Construction Contractor means a person who undertakes to or offers to undertake to, or purports to have the capacity to undertake to, or submits a bid to, or does himself or by or through others, construct, alter, repair, add to, subtract from, improve, move, wreck, or demolish any building, highway, road, railroad, excavation, or other structure, project, development, or improvement to real property, or to do any part thereof. "Construction contractor" includes subcontractors, specialty contractors, prime contractors, and any person receiving consideration for the general supervision and/or coordination of such a construction project except for remediation contracting. This definition shall govern without regard to whether or not the construction contractor is acting in fulfillment of a contract.

  • Tenant’s Work means all improvements, alterations, fixture, equipment, and signage installation, and furniture placement necessary or appropriate for the conduct of the Permitted Use, including all work described as Tenant’s Work on Exhibit D, attached (the “Work Letter”).

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Building Services Definitions

  • Building Systems means any electrical, mechanical, structural, plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, sprinkler, life safety or security systems serving the Building.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Contractor’s Equipment means all apparatus, machinery, vehicles and other things required for the execution and completion of the Works and the remedying of any defects. However, Contractor’s Equipment excludes Temporary Works, Employer’s Equipment (if any), Plant, Materials and any other things intended to form or forming part of the Equipment.

  • Building Project means the aggregate combined parcel of land on a portion of which are the improvements of which the Premises form a part, with all the improvements thereon, said improvements being a part of the block and lot for tax purposes which are applicable to the aforesaid land.

  • Project Water means water made available for delivery to the contractors by project conservation facilities and the transportation facilities included in the System.

  • Building construction means any physical activity on the site involved in the erection of a structure, cladding, external finish, formwork, fixture, fitting of service installation and the unloading of plant, machinery, materials or the like.

  • Construction Plant means appliances, machinery with necessary supply to up keep and maintenance of the works or temporary works but dose not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Landlord Work means the work, if any, that Landlord is obligated to perform in the Premises pursuant to a separate agreement (the “Work Letter”), if any, attached to this Lease as Exhibit C.

  • Common Areas is defined as all areas and facilities outside the Premises and within the exterior boundary line of the Project and interior utility raceways and installations within the Unit that are provided and designated by the Lessor from time to time for the general non-exclusive use of Lessor, Lessee and other tenants of the Project and their respective employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors and invitees, including parking areas, loading and unloading areas, trash areas, roadways, walkways, driveways and landscaped areas.

  • Building Drain means that part of the lowest horizontal piping of a drainage system which receives the discharge from soil, waste, and other drainage pipes inside the walls of the building and conveys it to the building sewer, beginning five (5) feet (1.5 meters) outside the inner face of the building wall.
