Bargaining Unit Work definition

Bargaining Unit Work means all work and contracting work performed by the Employer and all road and bridge maintenance work required by the Province of B.C.

Bargaining Unit Work means and includes any and all present work and all future work opportunities of the kind, nature and type currently, historically or traditionally performed by the Company’s bargaining unit employees in any of the classifications covered in this Collective Agreement.

Bargaining Unit Work. Classifications referenced in Appendix 1, Schedule A of the Master Labor Agreement. Bonefide: Factual or real Employer Association: A group of Employer representatives. In this Agreement it is the Associated General Contractors of Washington (AGC).

Examples of Bargaining Unit Work in a sentence

• As of the Effective Date, all agreements, understandings or practices of any kind that directly or indirectly permit the use of Outside Entities to perform Bargaining Unit Work are hereby agreed to be null and void.

• At each plant a committee consisting of four (4) individuals, two (2) individuals designated by each of the parties, shall be constituted to serve as the Bargaining Unit Work Committee.

• Prior to the Company entering into any agreement or arrangement to use Outside Entities to perform Bargaining Unit Work, the Company will provide written notice to the Bargaining Unit Work Committee in sufficient time to permit a final determination, using the Expedited Procedure, of whether or not the proposed use of Outside Entities is permitted.

• The Guiding Principle is that the Company will use Employees to perform any and all work which they are or could be capable (in terms of skill and ability) of performing (Bargaining Unit Work), unless the work meets one of the exceptions outlined in Paragraph 2 below.

• Prior to the Company entering into any agreement or arrangement to use Outside Entities to perform Bargaining Unit Work, except in the case of emergencies, the Company will provide written notice to the Contracting Out Committee.

More Definitions of Bargaining Unit Work

Bargaining Unit Work means all work functions which are subject to the jurisdiction of the Union by virtue of the certification issued to the Union by the Labour Relations Board of British Columbia, or any of its predecessors or successors, and/or by virtue of the express provisions of this Agreement.

Bargaining Unit Work shall include all work in connection with and all Employees engaged in the making, taking and servicing of screen-based media productions, regardless of the type of media recorded on or the distribution platform. The terms and conditions herein are applicable to pre-production, principal photography and post-production periods unless stated otherwise.

Bargaining Unit Work means work normally and currently being performed by the bargaining unit and related to the day to day operation, cleaning and maintenance of buildings and equipment and the operation of such equipment owned or leased by the Employer but excluding the replacement of buildings. It is understood that this will exclude the work currently being done outside the bargaining unit in each school district.

Bargaining Unit Work. The following definition specifically excludes all matters set forth in the "Management Rights Article" of this Agreement. All work and services connected with or incidental to the handling or selling of merchandise offered for sale to the public in the Employer's retail or wholesale establishments covered by this Agreement. The parties agree in concept that vendors should not perform bargaining unit work.

Bargaining Unit Work. Work or similar work that is currently done by bargaining unit members. FULL–TIME – Six (6) hours or more of work per day or thirty (30) or more hours per week. PART-TIME – Less than (6) hours of work per day and less than thirty (30) hours per week. REGULAR EMPLOYEE – A bargaining unit member. CLASSIFICATION SENIORITY – Length of continuous service within a classification listed in Article 10, Section C, EMPLOYMENT, ASSIGNMENT, TRANSFER AND LAYOFF since last date of hire. CONTRACT YEAR – Shall begin on July 1 and end on June 30. SERVICE YEAR – A service year is at least one-hundred and twenty (120) days during the contract year. DAY – A day shall mean a school calendar day, except that, in the summer a “day” shall mean any Monday through Friday, exclusive of calamity days, recognized state and/or federal holidays. BASE DAILY RATE – Current hourly rate multiplied by number of hours worked per day, excluding supplemental pay.

Bargaining Unit Work means work normally but not necessarily exclusively performed by a member of the bargaining unit.

Bargaining Unit Work. All work performed by a member(s) of the bargaining unit and any work that is similar to such work. 106 AMENDMENT PROCEDURE This Contract may be amended or provision(s) altered only by the mutual consent of the Board and the Association. Such amendment and/or altering may be 1) at the request of either the Board or the Association or 2) as may be required by ORC 4117. In any case, the finalization of such amendment(s) or altering shall be in accordance with the provisions of Article I, Sections 103 and 104. The party proposing the amendment may withdraw the amendment if agreement is not reached. ###
