Baggage Handling definition

Baggage Handling. System shall mean those facilities and equipment used to process passenger baggage at the Terminal Complex, including in-line baggage handling systems.
Baggage Handling means a process on departure and arrival system at terminals. On departure, baggage handling consists of three activities: (1) in-town check-in passenger checks outside the airport boundary; (2) check-in at the airport terminal; and (3) check-in passenger carries baggage at the aircraft gate and check-in at that point. On arrival, baggage handling consists of three activities: (1) off-loading of baggage from the aircraft; (2) transport of baggage between aircraft and reclaim area; and (3) loading of baggage onto the reclaim unit.

  • Recyclable means material that can be sorted, cleansed, and reconstituted using the City’s available recycling collection programs for the purpose of using the altered form in the manufacture of a new product. Recycling does not include burning, incinerating, converting, or otherwise thermally destroying solid waste.

  • Luggage means any property travelling with a Passenger but excludes any Goods contained in or carried on board a Vessel;
