Automatic Aid definition

Automatic Aid means an Approved agreement under which a municipality that is capable of responding more quickly to an area agrees to provide an initial response to fires, rescues, and emergencies in another municipality, or where a municipality agrees to provide a supplemental response to fires, rescues, or emergencies that may occur in another municipality.
Automatic Aid means any written agreement under which a municipality agrees to provide an initial response to fires, rescues and emergencies that may occur in a part of another municipality where a fire department is capable of responding more quickly than the fire department situated in the other municipality; or a municipality agrees to provide a supplemental response to fires, rescues and emergencies that may occur in a part of another municipality where a fire department in the municipality is capable of providing the quickest supplemental response to fires, rescues and emergencies occurring in the part of another municipality;
Automatic Aid means if an incident or emergency happens in one jurisdiction, the neighboring jurisdiction will automatically respond without a call for help from the affected jurisdiction.
