Authority Land definition

Authority Land means the FERC Project Area and
Authority Land means the FERC Project Area and all other real property owned by the Authority at the Lake as of the date before Closing, save and except for the Leased Tract.
Authority Land means all lands, waters and other Facilities owned, maintained or otherwise managed by the Authority.

  • Land Owner Award Tally (Priority I and II Applications only) As each Priority I or Priority II Application is selected for tentative funding, the Local Government, Public Housing Authority, Land Authority, or Community Land Trust that owns the land and that was identified at question 3.a. in Exhibit A of the RFA will be considered the Land Owner for purposes of the Land Owner Award Tally and have one Application credited toward the Land Owner Award Tally.

Related to Authority Land

  • Authority’s Premises means any premises occupied by or under the control of the Authority where the Services are to be supplied, as set out in the Specification.

  • Airport Authority means any city or any public or private board or other body or organization chartered or otherwise established for the purpose of administering, operating or managing airports or related facilities, which in each case is an owner, administrator, operator or manager of one or more airports or related facilities.

  • Water Authority means the body corporate known as the Water Authority of Western Australia established by the Water Authority Xxx 0000;

  • Port Authority means the Port Hedland Port Authority, being the body corporate established for the Port under the Port Authorities Act;

  • Tribal Land means all lands within the exterior boundaries of any land formally designated by the federal government as a Tribal reservation or land set apart by the federal government for a Tribe’s use such as pueblos and tribal trust lands but it does not include land that the Tribe acquired legal title through non-federal designation or award, unless 1) the tribe has obtained a federal public law stating that the Tribal members who reside in a particularly named area shall be considered (without any fiscal year limitation) for the purposes of the United States Housing Act of 1937 or such other federal housing law as residing on an Indian reservation or other Indian area; or 2) the tribe has acquired the land under Public Law 99-503 that provided for the replacement of certain lands within the Gila Bend Indian Reservation, the Secretary of the Interior holds such land in trust for the benefit of the tribe, and such land is deemed to be a Federal Indian Reservation for all purposes. The Project must be wholly located in the particular area stated in the federal public law to be considered to be Tribal Land.

  • Governmental Authority means the government of the United States or any other nation, or of any political subdivision thereof, whether state or local, and any agency, authority, instrumentality, regulatory body, court, central bank or other entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, taxing, regulatory or administrative powers or functions of or pertaining to government (including any supra-national bodies such as the European Union or the European Central Bank).

  • Governmental Authority(ies) means any Federal, state, local, quasi-governmental instrumentality or foreign court, or governmental agency, authority, instrumentality, agency, bureau, commission, department or regulatory body.

  • Qualified airport authority means an airport authority

  • Competent Authority and ‘Appellate Authority’ shall mean the following:

  • Host Authority means the local authority appointed by the Parties under these arrangements to lead on a specified matter or function as set out in paragraphs 14 and 19.

  • Central Authority means the entity designated by the United States or a foreign country described in section 102(e)(iv) to perform the functions specified in the Convention.

  • IWAI/ Authority/ Department/ Owner means the Inland Waterways Authority of India, which invites tenders on behalf of the Chairman, IWAI and includes therein-legal representatives, successors and assigns.

  • Land application means the spraying or spreading of sewage sludge onto the land surface, the injection of sewage sludge below the land surface, or the incorporation of sewage sludge into the soil for the purposes of conditioning the soil or fertilizing crops or vegetation grown in the soil.

  • Governmental Body means any government or governmental or regulatory body thereof, or political subdivision thereof, whether federal, state, local or foreign, or any agency, instrumentality or authority thereof, or any court or arbitrator (public or private).

  • State land means land which vests in the national or a provincial government, and includes land below the high water mark and the Admiralty Reserve, but excludes land belonging to a local authority;

  • Governmental Antitrust Authority has the meaning set forth in Section 5.11(b).

  • enforcement authority means any person or body having jurisdiction to enforce or to take action under or in respect of the relevant legal requirement.

  • Authority System means the Authority’s computing environment (consisting of hardware, software and/or telecommunications networks or equipment) used by the Authority or the Contractor in connection with this Contract which is owned by or licensed to the Authority by a third party and which interfaces with the Contractor System or which is necessary for the Authority to receive the Services.

  • Municipality means a city, village or town.

  • Tribal lands means all lands within the exterior boundaries of any Indian reservation and all dependent Indian communities.
