Authorised Denomination definition

Authorised Denomination means, in respect of any Note, the Minimum Denomination thereof and any denomination equal to one or more multiples of the Authorised Integral Amount in excess of the Minimum Denomination thereof.

Authorised Denomination means U.S.$250,000 and integral multiples of U.S.$1 in excess thereof.

Authorised Denomination means, in the case of a Restricted Note, U.S.$250,000 (or its equivalent rounded upwards as specified in the relevant Final Terms) and higher integral multiples of U.S.$1,000, or the higher denomination or denominations specified in the applicable Final Terms.

Examples of Authorised Denomination in a sentence

• Bearer Notes of one Authorised Denomination may not be exchanged for Bearer Notes of another Authorised Denomination.

• The Notes are in definitive fully registered form, without interest coupons or principal receipts attached, in the applicable Authorised Denomination.

• If it is specified in the Constituting Instrument that Notes are in registered form or if as a result of an exchange of Bearer Notes pursuant to Condition 2(a) Notes are in registered form (“ Registered Notes”), such Registered Notes shall be in an Authorised Denomination or an integral multiple thereof as specified in the Constituting Instrument.

• Authorised Denomination means the denomination or denominations specified as such in the Constituting Instrument.

• Subject to the restrictions (if any) referred to in the Constituting Instrument, Registered Notes represented by a Registered Certificate may be transferred in whole or in part in an Authorised Denomination or an integral multiple thereof upon the surrender of the Registered Certificate representing such Registered Notes, together with the form of transfer endorsed on it duly completed and executed, at the specified office of the Registrar or any Transfer Agent.

Any Bearer Note the principal amount of which is redeemable in instalments may be issued with one or more Receipts attached thereto. "Maturity Date" means the date specified in the Applicable Supplement as the final date on which the principal amount of the Note is due and payable.A Certificate in respect of a Registered Notes (each a "Registered Note Certificate") will be issued to each Noteholder in respect of its registered holding.
