Authentication Credential definition

Authentication Credential means any data (such as a PIN, digital certificate or password) or device (such as a smart card or other security token) that is issued or assigned to an individual or system from time to time which, when presented by that individual or system, is used by Xxxxxx Xxx to authenticate the identity and/or authority of that individual or system for purposes of facilitating access to the Licensed Application.

  • Licensee must take immediate steps to disable an Authorized User’s Authentication Credential if they cease to be associated with Licensee or no longer needs access to the Licensed Materials, and must immediately notify Xxxxxx Xxx if there is any loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of an Authentication Credential.

  • Licensee must take immediate steps to disable an Authorized User’s Authentication Credential if the Authorized User ceases to be associated with Licensee or no longer needs access to the Licensed Materials, and must immediately notify Xxxxxx Xxx if there is any loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of an Authentication Credential.

  • Such security access system may rely on, among other things, the issuance by Xxxxxx Xxx (and/or a third party designated by Xxxxxx Xxx) of an Authentication Credential to an Authorized User.

  • Licensee further agrees to immediately notify Xxxxxx Xxx and take immediate steps to disable a previously issued Authentication Credential if (a) an Authorized User ceases to be an Authorized User for any reason, including as a result of such User no longer being employed, retained or used by Licensee, or (b) in the event of any loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of any Authentication Credential.

  • Xxxxxx Mae is not required to provide access to or use of the Licensed Application or data to any individual or system, and may refuse, change or revoke any Authentication Credential at any time for any reason.

  • However, if there is no fraud nor gross negligence on your part, and you have not provided the Card, PIN or Authentication Credential to a third party, your maximum liability for such unauthorised transactions before notification of such loss, theft, disclosure or misuse will not exceed HK$500 or such other amount pursuant to the applicable laws, regulations or code of practice.

  • Multi-factor Authentication means controlling access to computers and other IT resources by requiring two or more pieces of evidence that the user is who they claim to be.
