Assumption of Risk definition
Assumption of Risk. I acknowledge that inherent risks, dangers and hazards exist when using hand tools, power tools, working with or constructing electronic circuits, soldering, welding or otherwise working with metal, using chemicals or building materials and other related activities. Participation in these activities and the use of equipment associated with electronics, manufacturing, construction and scientific practices may result in injury, illness, death or damage to personal property. These risks and dangers may be caused by myself, other participants, by accident, acts of nature or other causes. Risks and dangers may arise from foreseeable or unforeseeable causes including, but not limited to electrocution, ▇▇▇▇▇, impalement, injury from slips or falls, or loss of limb.
Assumption of Risk. You acknowledge that: by the very nature of international travel and trekking excursions, they are more challenging and demanding with a commensurately higher level of risk compared with conventional holidays or excursions, and involve potential exposure to injury and possibly death; and in the countries and regions in which international travel is undertaken, standards of accommodation, transport, health care, hygiene, safety and service provision generally are often not as high as those standards in your country of residence and may require flexibility and patience on your part; and operational control of the tour may be in the hands of a third party and that your right of action in regard to any shortcomings of that third party’s performance is against the third party and not against the Tour Organizer; and the additional dangers and risks associated with international travel may include difficult and dangerous terrain; high altitude; extremes of weather, including sudden and unexpected changes; political instability; remoteness from normal medical services and from communications; and evacuation difficulties in the event of illness or injury; and you have submitted your booking for the excursion after giving due consideration of relevant travel information including, without limitation, any relevant information or advice given by the governments of those countries to which we will be travelling and the US Department of State and that it is your responsibility to acquaint yourself with that information or advice, for the above reasons you therefore accept the inherent and increased dangers and risks associated with the proposed international excursion and the accompanying risk of injury, death or property damage or loss.
Assumption of Risk. Licensee assumes the risk of any loss or damage to its property or the property of any person or entity authorized by it to be in the Licensed Space. TAMU-CC and its officers, employees and agents will not be responsible or liable for any loss of, or damage to, property while in the Licensed Space regardless of how the loss or damage is sustained.

I further agree that this Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that if any portion is held invalid the remaining portions will continue to have full legal force and effect.
This Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims, Indemnification, and Hold Harmless and Agreement supersedes any earlier written or oral understandings or agreements between the parties.
I agree that the above Waiver and Release, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnification Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to the conflict of laws rules thereunder.
This Assumption of Risk, however, is not intended to release the above-mentioned RELEASEES from liability arising out of their negligence.
Participant acknowledges that he/she has read this Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims, Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement, understands its meaning and effect, and agrees to be bound by it.
More Definitions of Assumption of Risk
Assumption of Risk. The Volunteer understands that activities engaged while volunteering may be hazardous to the Volunteer. The Volunteer expressly and specifically assumes the risk of injury or harm in these activities.
Assumption of Risk. I understand that participation in the Activity, by its very nature, includes certain inherent risks, known and unknown, that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary, but I understand that they may include property damage, bodily injury, personal injury, emotional injury, death, financial injury, temporary or permanent disability, paralysis, risks associated with travel in a vehicle, and dangers associated with potential misjudgment or negligence of Church staff or other Activity participants. I understand and appreciate the risks that are inherent in the Activity and have had the opportunity to discuss them with a representative of the Church. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to assume any and all risks of injury or harm that may be sustained by while or in connection with the Activity, including but not limited to the increased risk of Coronavirus transmission.
Assumption of Risk. I am aware that participation in the Event and use of the Resort facilities and equipment involves inherent risks and dangers, including property damage, personal injury and death. Assumption of Risk. I am aware that the Participant’s participation in the Activities may involve many inherent risks, dangers and hazards including but not limited to minor and major physical injuries, psychological injury, illness, health problems, health complications, death, loss or damage to person or property and all other hazards arising from: (i) the Activities; or (ii) caused by negligence or any other act or omission on the part of the Releasees, including the failure on the part of the Releasees to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect the Participant from the risks, dangers and hazards of participating in the Activities. Without limiting the above, I confirm that I am aware that the Activities involve the risk of contracting COVID-19 and I am fully aware that there is a reasonable possibility that the Activities may or will not comply with the Public Health guidelines, recommendations and directives that are in place to minimize the risk of contracting COVID-19. I freely accept and fully assume, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Participant, all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, illness, health problems, health complications, property damage, loss or even death resulting therefrom, including but not limited to the possibility of the Participant or persons close to the Participant contracting COVID-19. I agree to, at all times, inspect my surroundings for possible risk and determine for myself that conditions are acceptable for the Participant to commence or continue the Participant’s attendance and participation in the Activities. I also agree my attendance and the Participant’s attendance and the commencing and continuing of that attendance constitutes acceptance of all dangers, hazards and risks involved.
Assumption of Risk. The Participant acknowledges that as a participant in the Program the Participant may be asked to move and/or carry items of furniture or other objects and may be subjected to loud noises, such as controlled explosions or the discharging of blank ammunition. Participation in the Program carries with it certain potential risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. Participant is fully aware of the potential risks and hereby assets that his/her participation is voluntary and knowingly assumes all such potential risks that may result from their participation in the Program.

You assume the risk of your participation in any activity, class, program, instruction, or event, including but not limited to weightlifting, walking, jogging, running, aerobic activities, aquatic activities, tennis, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, or any other sporting or recreational endeavor. You agree that you are voluntarily participating in the aforementioned activities and assume all risk of injury, illness, damage, or loss to you or your property that might result, including, without limitation, any loss or theft of any personal property, whether arising out of the negligence of Trainer or otherwise.
