Assistant caregiver definition

Assistant caregiver means a person or family member who is under the supervision of the caregiver and who provides direct care, supervision, and protection to children in care.
Assistant caregiver means an employee or volunteer who helps a manager or caregiver provide supervisory care services, personal care services, or directed care services to a resident, and does not include a family member of the resident.
Assistant caregiver means a person, working under the observation and supervision of a caregiver or Program Director, who performs direct child care functions and related duties and meets the qualifications specified in Requirement 86.
