ARTICLE MANAGEMENT RIGHTS. The Union recognizes that the control, direction and administration of the Company's business, enterprise and employees are vested solely in the Company. These rights may be exercised as long as they are pertinent and in relation to the nature of Cabin Personnel's duties and responsibilities and not inconsistent with the Collective Agreement. The Company also recognizes its duty to exercise its management rights fairly and equitably. Any of the rights, powers or authority the Company had prior to signing this Agreement will be retained by the Company, except those specifically abridged, delegated, granted or modified by this Agreement. ARTICLE MANAGEMENT RIGHTS. The Union recognizes that it is the right of the employer to exercise the generally recognized regular and customary functions of management and to direct its working forces. This includes the right to introduce new and improved methods, facilities, equipment, and to control the amount of supervision necessary, the planning or splitting up of departments, work schedules, and the increase or reduction of personnel in a particular area or overall; the above rules and regulations will be posted on the employee's Bulletin Board with a copy supplied to the Union Committee. The Management reserves the right to amend or introduce new rules from time to time, copies of which are to be posted on the Bulletin Boards with copies to be supplied to the Union Committee. The Union Committee shall have the right to make representation before any rule is amended or any new rules introduced.
