Armed Groups definition

Armed Groups means dissident armed forces or other organized armed groups that are distinct from the armed forces of the state;
Armed Groups means organized armed groups that engaged in military fighting against RPA (as hereinafter defined) in the territory of the Borrower or the territory of the Democratic Republic of Congo;
Armed Groups means forces other than Government forces, RCD and MLC that are not signatories to this agreement. They include ex-FAR, AFF, LRA, UNRF II, NALU Interahamwe militias, FUNA, FDD, WNBF, UNITA and any other forces.

Examples of Armed Groups in a sentence

  • The CPA requires that no Other Armed Groups aligned to either party should be allowed to operate outside the formal structure of the two forces during the Interim Period.

  • Other Armed Groups are required either to be integrated into the organized forces of one of the Parties (army, police, prisons or wildlife service), or disarmed, demobilized and reintegrated into civilian life.

  • Uniformed personnel means: (a) Law enforcement officers as

  • Designated Group means - i) Black designated groups; ii) Black People; iii) Women; iv) people with disabilities or v) Small enterprise, as defined in Section 1 of National Small Enterprise Act, (102 of 1996)

  • Combined Group means a group of corporations or other entities that files a Combined Return.

  • Exposed group means all employees at a work location, working area, or a common area at work, where an employee COVID-19 case was present at any time during the high-risk exposure period. A common area at work includes bathrooms, walkways, hallways, aisles, break or eating areas, and waiting areas. The following exceptions apply:

  • Affiliated Group means any affiliated group within the meaning of Section 1504(a) of the Code or any similar group defined under a similar provision of state, local or foreign law.

  • Uniformed service means the performance of duty on a voluntary or involuntary basis in the uniformed service of the United States, including the U.S. Public Health Services, under competent authority and includes active duty, active duty for training, initial activity duty for training, inactive duty training, full-time National Guard duty, and the period for which a person is absent from a position of employment for purposes of an examination to determine the fitness of the person to perform any such duty.

  • Armed forces means that term as defined in section 2 of the veteran right to employment services act, 1994 PA 39, MCL 35.1092.

  • Uniformed services means the armed forces, the army national guard, and the air national guard of any state, territory, commonwealth, possession, or district when engaged in active duty for training, inactive duty for training, full-time national guard duty, or state active duty, the commissioned corps of the public health service, the coast guard and any other category of persons designated by the President of the United States in time of war or national emergency.

  • Restricted Group Collectively, the following persons and entities: the Trustee; the Underwriters; the Depositor; the Master Servicer; the Special Servicer; any Sub-Servicers; the Sponsors; each Mortgagor, if any, with respect to Mortgage Loans constituting more than 5% of the total unamortized principal balance of all the Mortgage Loans in the Trust Fund as of the Closing Date; and any and all Affiliates of any of the aforementioned Persons.

  • the Group means the Company and its subsidiary undertakings (if any); and

  • Controlled Group means all members of a controlled group of corporations and all trades or businesses (whether or not incorporated) under common control which, together with any Borrower, are treated as a single employer under Section 414 of the Code.

  • Member means a member of the Board;

  • SAP Group means SAP Parent and any of its Associated Companies.

  • Team Members means the members of the Team, jointly and severally;

  • Ethnic Group means a group of people who identify with each other through a common heritage including language, culture, and often a shared or common religion and or ideology that stresses ancestry.
