Archival Recording definition

Archival Recording means the recording of a performance for the following purposes: an historical record for the Employer for use by the Employer, students or historians; archival reference for rights holders, principal cast and production (creative team with appropriate waivers executed by the Employer) a performance reference for an Performer where more than one Performer is cast to perform the same role; as a tool to onsell the performance; for planning and research; a guide to recreate the production when it is restaged or revised; for a choreographer, director, musical director to remount future productions.

Examples of Archival Recording in a sentence

  • For any infringement of this Article, the shall pay the Artist four (4) weeks of the applicable Archival Recording The Artist's performance cannot be recorded under this Agreement, in any way, except that the may record, for the exclusive use of its archives, or as provided for in Clause an audio or audio- visual recording of the Artist's work.

  • Archival Recording can only be used for streaming or other broadcast with express agreement between the Performers and the Company, outlining the intended usage, including limits to the time, place and period for which the Recording will be released.

  • The Producer shall employ its best efforts to ensure that all Performers have the right to view the Archival Recording prior to its use for streaming or for any agreed broadcast.

Related to Archival Recording

  • Vital records means certificates or reports of birth, death, fetal death, marriage, dissolution, annulment, and related data.

  • Educational records means: those official records, files, and data directly related to a student and maintained by the school or local education agency, including but not limited to records encompassing all the material kept in the student's cumulative folder such as general identifying data, records of attendance and of academic work completed, records of achievement and results of evaluative tests, health data, disciplinary status, test protocols, and individualized education programs.

  • Electronic recording A mortgage or a mortgage-related document created, generated, sent, communicated, received, or stored by electronic means (that complies with the requirements of the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act or the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, as applicable) that has been accepted for recording by a participating county land records office which accepts such electronic record of a mortgage or a mortgage-related document as an alternative to recordation of the original paper form of such document.

  • Confidential record means a record that is not available as a matter of right for examination and copying by members of the public under applicable provisions of law. Confidential records include records or information contained in records that the department is prohibited by law from making available for examination by members of the public, and records or information contained in records that are specified as confidential by Iowa Code section 22.7 or another provision of law, but that may be disclosed upon order of the court, the custodian of the record, or by another person duly authorized

  • Public records means all writings and recordings that consist of letters, words or numbers, or their equivalent, set down by handwriting, typewriting, printing, photostatting, photography, magnetic impulse, optical or magneto-optical form, mechanical or electronic recording or other form of data compilation, however stored, and regardless of physical form or characteristics, prepared or owned by, or in the possession of a public body or its officers, employees or agents in the transaction of public business.

  • Financial Records means any document or summary of information contained in a document, including electronic documents, that contains information about the financial activities or position of a person including, but not limited to, information about the assets, balance sheets, budgets, cash flow, earnings, revenue, expenditures, income, investments, losses, liabilities, payroll, profits, retained earnings, or taxes.
