Examples of Approved Person in a sentence
TheBoardofDirectorsmayappointanominatingCommitteeofnotlessthan3MembersoftheCreditUnion.ThenominatingCommitteeshallascertainthenumberofvacantOfficerpostsrequiringcandidatesandensurethatthereisatleastonesuitablecandidatetorecommendtotheAnnualGeneralMeetingforeachvacancy.Inmakingtheirrecommendation,thenominatingCommitteeshallascertainthatthenominee is ‘fit and proper’ to become an Approved Person.
A newly elected person refused Approved Person status by the Regulator is required to resign their position immediately and shall not be permitted to take an active role in the management of the Credit Union.
